Ce chalet rĆ©cemment "frappĆ©" arbore des touches architecturales crĆ©atives, un style et des Ć©quipements axĆ©s sur le chalet, un mobilier frais Ć  la fois fonctionnel et fantaisiste, tous les nouveaux appareils et accessoires, une apparence et une attitude qui invitent et inspirent un engagement relaxant avec toute l'activitĆ© de l'eau salĆ©e de la nature dans la premiĆØre ressource marine protĆ©gĆ©e du Maine. Vous partagez cette beautĆ© naturelle avec des aigles, des balbuzards pĆŖcheurs, des hĆ©rons bleus, des huards, un phoque occasionnel, des crabes fer Ć  cheval prĆ©historiques, des parcs Ć  huĆ®tres et, au printemps, plus d'un million de gaspareaux passant par le quai pour frayer dans l'eau douce du lac Damariscotta voisin. Les tout premiers invitĆ©s ont dit qu'ils venaient dans le Maine chaque Ć©tĆ© pour explorer et dĆ©couvrir toutes les activitĆ©s uniques de la cĆ“te du Maine et de ses villages. Pourtant, ils ont trouvĆ© Sea Lavender Cottage si confortable, rempli de joie et Ć©panouissant Ć©motionnellement, ils ne voulaient pas partir chaque jour ... sauf pour lancer les kayaks et rejoindre la beautĆ© de la baie. Maintenant c'est ton tour...

Sea Lavender Cottage a Ć©tĆ© crĆ©Ć© en 2016 par les propriĆ©taires du Beckoning Bay Cottage qui a ouvert ses portes en 2009. Les deux chalets ont eu une occupation saisonniĆØre presque complĆØte, principalement avec des clients qui reviennent, et de nombreuses critiques enthousiastes. Avec ces deux chalets sur des propriĆ©tĆ©s adjacentes, plus de gens ont la possibilitĆ© de profiter des nombreux charmes de Mid Coast Maine, du cadre relaxant de Great Salt Bay et de l'accĆØs Ć  proximitĆ© Ć  US Route One.
Le MBR est extra large avec un lit King et une salle de bain attenante. Le deuxiĆØme BR est moins spacieux mais a un lit pleine grandeur et une salle de bain complĆØte directement adjacente.

They say you can't go home again, but if you're a native returning to Maine (like us), you can come pretty close to it by staying at the Sea Lavender Cottage!We were four adults and an infant and there was plenty of room inside and outside. The Cottage is exceedingly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The views from the deck are stunning and we spent a lot of time with the provided binoculars watching the antics of the wildlife on the tidal river. We also used the kayaks to explore much the area. The Cottage is located nearby to the very charming town of Damariscotta. That region of state offers many nice attractions for coastal day trips.David is an exceptional and kind host. He made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. He gave us a quick tour of the property when we checked in and offered helpful tips for our visit. When we left, he was interested in any feedback regarding our stay. We hope to stay there again.

Maine Waterfront Cottage was perfect in all ways. The cottage was beautiful, no detail was left out. From the spectacular views to the spacious accommodations, it was the perfect retreat. So easy to get to town for great food and shopping. David was the perfect host, he went above and beyond, was so welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We canā€™t wait to come back.

House is clean and comfortable with everything in working order. We lacked for nothing and enjoyed the small touches, such as the in-person welcome from David and the goodies he left for us. We spent time relaxing and taking in the beautiful view, as well as kayaking and light hiking in the area. We'd definitely recommend this property!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful waterfront, location, with bright big windows and a gorgeous view from everyone. The decor and comfort of the home is the best weā€™ve ever stayed in. There are many luxuries to enjoy and comforts everywhere you turn. The owner, David, is very accommodating and even offered us an early check-in and a late check out so we could extend our stay. He was gracious and helpful, but also respected our privacy. A nice touch was every morning when we woke up, the driveway had been freshly salted. A wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with this vacation rental. Everything was exactly as advertised and the house was very clean. We cooked or grilled every night - the kitchen was well equipped. Simmons Seafood is a few minutes drive away and had fresh seafood. We will be staying here again!

Our vacation at Sea Lavender Cottage in Maine was truly a dream come true. From the moment we booked until the time we checked out, every aspect of our experience was top-notch. The property itself is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views and impeccable accommodations. We were two couples visiting the area for the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival. Davidā€™s house was amazing - a beautiful view of the river, immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The weather didnā€™t permit us to use the kayaks or spend as much time out on the deck as we would have liked, but we enjoyed the indoor space and the pool table in the basement. David lives in the carriage house in the property and personally welcomed us and gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked. He was flexible with his usual checkout time of 10:00, which we felt was unusually early and allowed us to stay until 11:00. Our weekend stay was a real treat.

This cottage is so charming and comfortable and the water view is delightful. Dave is the perfect host, immediately attentive to any questions or problems. We also appreciated the cheese, wine and English muffins and coffee that he left for us. We managed to try most of his restaurant recommendations and they were spot on. Damariscotta is only a mike or so away with cute shops, good restaurants and a fabulous Hannafordā€™s Grocery. I hope we can return soon!

We love Sea Lavender, it has all the comforts of home from AC to a washer and dryer. The deck is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the eagles, osprey and herons. The owner, David is a wonderful host, very helpful if there are any issues. Hope to return next year!

From the first moment Dave, the property host, personally met us and showed us around, you just knew you were in for a special stay. Dave welcomed us with a gift basket filled with goodies and a nice bottle of wine. But you could see immediately the property was the star of the show! The cottage was decorated with very relaxing colors and comfortable furniture and very whimsical pieces of art that just make you smile. Than you step outside onto the deck and see why this is an oasis of wildlifeā€¦..Bald eagles, ducks, Canadian geese, blue herons and other marine life. The view is unobstructed and what a view it is! Whether watching from the deck or trying the kayaks that are available, you wonā€™t be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this property for all to come and relax.

This rental was one of the best I have stayed at. The home is beautiful and the location is ON THE WATER. Just an arm length away. The owner is great to coordinate with.
