« Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. On-street parking tight, double-parked along the road, one side parking half on the pavement. 3 single beds in the downstairs bedroom & 1 double bed upstairs. Upstairs bedroom didn't have anywhere to store clothes so we had to live out of suitcases. Lounge had dining table & 4 chairs, writing desk & extra chair under stairs. « Très bon hôtel. Extrêmement propre, et avec un personnel très aimable. Le petit déjeuner est un peu...bizarre...(self service dans le couloir), mais les chambres étant très grandes, avec des magasins très proches, on peut facilement acheter un petit déjeuner pas cher et revenir le prendre dans la chambre. Les chambres sont très grandes, cuisine, avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. »

« It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook. Just saved them for the next place. Oh, we did go to the beach by the castle. That was nice. It was late, so the castle was closed, but...
