Hotel Newchurch and Merthyr

« Très bon séjour. Accueil sympathique et attachant. Personnel impliqué dans l’optique de maintenir un hôtel parfait. Nous recommandons pour vos séjours au Pays de Galle. »

« Our room was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and gave us some great tips of places to visit and where to park. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. Parking was a little tricky but was very safe and secure »

« I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. A place you could maybe have found the same 30 or 40 years ago and well-maintained eversince. I really loved the mood. Also, the owners are really super nice, kind and welcoming. A good traditional cooked breakfast is served in the morning. Go there if you like old-style UK and want to support independent owners. I would...

« Lovely stay at The Falcon. Breakfast was superb and staff were exceptional. Super friendly and personal. The room was functional and clean - everything was just great. Highly recommend it! »

« Enjoyed a quiet night above the pub. Food available in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff at check in and out. Plentiful parking available. Good location in South Wales. »

« We enjoyed our stay , the room was nice clean and basic location brilliant onsite site parking, breakfast very nice one down fall we had a low floor room road side very noisy and other guests were very noise passing our room »

« It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay. »

« We chose this hotel because we were planning to attend an event at a nearby beach. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to bad weather, which was very disappointing. However, staying at this hotel turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a comfortable and welcoming place. The staff were incredibly friendly, almost as if we had known them for years, but never in an intrusive way. They had just the right balance of warmth and friendliness that made us feel completely...

« We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales. »

« Great place to stay with excellent food. »

« I stayed 4 nights to go to the Welsh National Eisteddfod. The room was comfortable and the breakfsst good. They provided vegan sausages and oat milk with no problem. On site parking was free. Staff were very pleasant. There was no other meal service than breakfast and only a limited bar service (which I didn’t use) but there is a pub very nearby that serves meals and also a few other eating places. »

« Everything was spot-on had a brilliant time thank you so much once again »

« A very well maintained place and Jayne is lovely »

« First time back to Jabajaks in twenty years and it more than loved up to the memory of the place. Staff are extremely personable and can't do enough to help. The vineyard tour was great and delicious! The suite (Garden Suite) was lovely. Cosy yet spacious. Now the food... Absolutely incredible. I had the pork bonbon to start. Almost cried with happiness. Then the lamb. I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it, every part of the meal was cooked to perfection, delicious and lots of...
