« We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. We bought two tower fans and left them for others who might need in order to sleep at night. The kitchen was complete, the lining room large, the TV worked well and the beds comfortable. « We absolutely loved the lodge! It was comfortable, spotless and very well equipped for families. The hot tub was lovely and the sauna fantastic. The hosts were great at answering any questions before the stay and the welcome pack is perfect for you planning your stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for exploring the East Neuk of Fife and with shops nearby! We can't recommend it enough. »

« Rental too far from center of town. Need a vehicle to get to town, or a very long walk.The frig leaked water on the kitchen floor. The fire/smoke alarms went off a couple of times during stay, but the last evening they went off three times, the last time at 12:45 A. M. Very annoying. »

« Owners welcoming and did their best to make sure everything was perfect. Accommodation was clean and well appointed so that everything you needed had been provided. Tranquil setting. Lots of room for parking and table and chairs outside for al fresco eating. Roomy accommodation. Separate living room so TV or children could be separate. 2 en suites and a separate bathroom so every bedroom was catered for. »
