Hotel Nilgiri Hills

« Yes only about 45 min to mudumalai, excellent spot for wildlife and birds. But it is not easily accessible and no restaurants near by and kitchen was closed for most of the days we stayed there so I spent about Rs2000 each day on a cab to take us to dinner. The staff are very friendly but they are not used to running a hotel ? Didn't change towels or service the room in 3 days! Otherwise great place. »

« Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating). »

« We enjoyed staying at Tamarillo. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Evening bonfires were fun and enabled us to get to know other guests. »

« The housekeeping, restaurant and room services are pathetic. You call them multiple times they will not pick the phone. Their food is overpriced and not upto the mark. They take a lot of time in food preparation and also their free breakfast is same everyday. They will provide very basic south indian breakfast. The area around the resort is good but the resort is overpriced and the overall services are not good. »

« Une grande chambre, un très grand lit confortable, une belle salle de douche avec eau chaude et le personnel adorable. Une cuisine locale excellente . J'ai moins aimé la localisation, un peu loin du centre quand on est à pied et ma chambre juste derrière la réception etait bruyante. »

« A bit rough and rugged. Staff were helpful with tours etc. Ordered food from the hotel and it took over an hour to come and wasn’t hot. Location not great, need to get tuktuk most places as no uber. Wasn’t the most comfortable place. »
