Hotel Nixon

« Parking was great. Clean room. I only would have liked if there was a coffee maker in the room. I had to walk down to the office to get coffee. »

« Air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfy. Room lacked lighting in the room, no desk lamp, etc. The TV did not work. Very noisy neighbors next door, and they were outside our door, until at least midnight. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, small muffins, toast, juices, coffee..... no yogurt or fresh fruit. »

« Office staff was not very friendly and willing to work with helping to resolve booking issue with Expedia. The rooms only offered a small bar of soap - no lotion, shampoo or conditioner for hair. The bathtub has been painted at one point and is peeling and gross looking. Old and run down place for the price. »

« The smell in the room and the floor dirty, nope thank yo, not anymore EVER. Even when I mentioned that to the nice guy in the morning at the desk he said … : oh yes they are planning to remodel, but don’t know when. Well overpriced for such room. And poor reaction from the management team. And the reception was very average . Anyway enough said I guess »

« There was only hot water one day, out of four stayed. Front desk did not respond to this concern. Not super clean. Musty and smell of past flooding. »

« I booked a suite with one queen bed. We were given a standard room - no explanation as to why. We didn't discover this until we entered the room we were assigned. We had been charged for a much more expensive room. I went back down to the desk and was told that all suites were booked. I showed the desk clerk that i booked a suite and was told to wait 5 minutes while she checked "something". She came back and told me she had a room for us but the toilet needed to be fixed before we could move in....

« Room was relatively clean and tidy. Place could use some repair and painting. Fine place for a fella to rest his bones or for a short work stent away for work. I wouldn't bring the kids to stay but fine for me for few nights. Staff was nice and helpful when key stopped working. »

« Showed up for a reservation and nobody answered the front door had to knock on a door to get someone to come to front desk only to be told that the room we had were not available. I had booked 3 rooms and was left trying to find another place at 11 at night. With no help and no call about the rooms not being available. »
