„Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.“

„This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.“

„Marquetta is the most amazing host. She provides fresh eggs from her chickens, bacon, English muffins and even a half stick of land-O-Lakes butter for breakfast. There are very nice chocolates bedside. They even have a coffee station! We go for the amazing, relaxing pool. It is amazing. We make this yearly vacation spot. Everything is amazing!!“

„Stairs were steep and not for the faint of heart. Cobwebs everywhere. Kitchen did not have basics - e.g., baking sheet, salt, pepper, etc. Sheets frayed and all linens needed replaced.“

„The house was spacious and comfortable. We had a great time using the game room and hot tub. The house felt tucked away, but was very accessible to local towns and the interstate. April was a great host and easy to communicate with. For things to do, would recommend Lake Hardy's beach, Soar n Bounce in Clarksville, and a stop at Java Station 31 for coffee.“
