« Check in was disappointing. The staff person seemed confused. Asked me what room I was checking into. My reply was -I have no idea. She kept looking and relooking into a couple of drawers, then spent a lot of time looking at the computer telling me she was trying to find a room for me. « The mattress and pillows were my favorite part—soft, comfortable, and so cozy that I actually slept better than I do in my own bed. They also offer coffee 24/7, and there’s a convenience store and restaurant literally right across the street. There’s no swimming pool or fitness center, but it served my purpose perfectly as a quiet writing retreat. »

« Room was updated and clean. Pool area and hallway leading to area was excessively hot and humid which made room humidity seem very high. Everything felt damp. Never any staff at front desk. Hibbing downtown is much more vibrant than Virginia downtown. Will try Hibbing next time. »
