« It was very difficult to find the cottage at first. After I checked in I took a shower and left to eat. After a long drive I finally wanted to lay down and relax, but the TV didn’t work. There was no wifi. After my body started itching. The whole bed was full of animal hair! And some human hair as well. The sheets were not cleaned at all! Very disappointing. I left the place and booked a hotel in town. Luckily the property agreed to give me a refund. »

« We were in town for a wedding in Spearfish and decided to stay in downtown area, and chose this little cottage based on the reviews. We were not disappointed! We had everything we needed, easy parking, warm cottage with all the amenities. The locals are SO FRIENDLY! We LOVED the area, and definitely are considering a return trip for a vacation getaway to explore the region in a bit warmer weather. We will definitely stay at this property again! »

« The home is in fair condition for an older home and about what one should expect with the exception of the tub and shower. It is not acceptable and needs replaced. It is located on the top of a hill with great views of the mining pit. It was quiet and comfortable but needs some TLC. »

« The place was clean except for the rug in the living room that needs to be replaced because that's the first thing you see when you walk in . The refrigerator is very small. The mattress is extra firm which I don't mind but my husband hated and the bathroom sink is very tiny. Don't even try to brush your teeth in it or you will wind up with water all over you and your feet. It's in a perfect location and it worked well for what we needed. Just beware if you're coming with a bunch of food it will...
