Room: we didn’t expect a Hilton, but we did expect the room to be clean. The bathroom had mildew, the rods were rusted as were the faucets, now towel service, actually no service AT ALL! We asked for clean towels, “We don’t do that service. Wash them yourself.” The microwave had not been cleaned in a long time. Food was splattered all inside, The furniture was worse than thrift store items that were sent to the trash. (Dented, scratched, painted over).Toilet paper, we asked for a roll, “you have to provide your own.” Went to the laundry to wash towels and clothes, 1. The smell was overwhelming. The drum was filthy. 2. Dryers were just as bad. Dirty, filter not cleaned, etc. 3. Machines only take quarters, and no place to turn a dollar bill into quarters. Again “we don’t provide that.” That was the answer to every question. The young ladies at the front desk, work 11AM-7PM. Before or later, not help anywhere, We were expecting at least a clean room, a cordial staff, a place to stay for a week. We were not impressed and will not be using
Expedia or Trivago again, Also, we were not in a “rundown area”
