« Vieille auberge dans un joli village du Northumberland. Accueil aimable et ambiance trÚs british; moquette omniprésente, comme partout en Grande-Bretagne cela dit, allergiques s'abstenir. Notre chambre au 3e était simple, mais fonctionnelle - notre seul vrai reproche est la literie (matelas trÚs mous avec un gros creux au milieu). Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner, servi dans une salle à part: ce n'est pas précisé sur leur site mais ils proposent de vrais choix de petit-déjeuner outre l'éternel...

« The company managing the property only seemed interested in telling us about their requirement to make an arrangement to cover breakages at the property during our stay. We could either pay an insurance fee or a deposit which would be returned minus an administration fee 14 days after we vacated the property - why 14 days? There was no clear information about this requirement until after the booking was made, by which time we could not cancel. We assumed that due to the operation of a scheme...

« The apartment itself is absolutely amazing, everything you need & so clean. The view over the Marina is lovely & plenty of green space for a dog to run !! However...the back alley shared entrance isn't mentioned & the alley is quite dark at night especially if you were returning on your own. Amble is lovely but some parts are very run down.Overall we had a lovely stay , the apartment is lovely & the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. « Beautiful apartment in lovely, historic building. Extremely tasteful furnishings with fantastic mullioned windows. Very scenic spot with gorgeous views and a very pretty town- Rothbury. Super walks from the house and only 25 minutes from very sandy Alnmouth beach. Our dog loved it all and we, as well as him, were made to feel very welcome by the owner in our communication. »

« a reasonable property that is very well located for all amenities in this lovely town. the couch was a little low to the ground for us as we have problems with our knees ( old age catching up ) and carrying the luggage up the stairs made me breathless ( my fault as I should have checked this before booking ), but the flat was comfortable and we had an excellent time. Many thanks to Victoria for the prompt way she communicated with us when we had a small problem to resolve. »

« This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others. »
