Le bourg de Stalham est situé à l’extrémité nord des Broads et constitue un pied-à-terre idéal pour explorer les environs avec des bateaux à moteur et des canoës disponibles à la location sur place. La côte sablonneuse est à une courte distance en voiture; Vous pouvez également passer une journée dans la belle ville de Norwich, avec ses cathédrales, ses musées, ses théâtres et ses nombreux magasins et cafés. We enjoyed the cottage and the owners were very nice and accommodating BUT please be informed that the cottage is located on a VERY treacherous and pot-holley road which may be a problem for some vehicles. Comfortable, cosy, peaceful cottage within walking distance of Stalham. Owners were very welcoming and gave us useful local tips. It was more spacious that we had expected from the photos on the website. Having a zip and link kingsize bed instead of a double was an unexpected bonus. The conservatory is also a great place to sit and enjoy the "big skies". Part of the track to the cottage is on an unadopted road - the potholes on this were being filled just before our departure.
