Poor value and not clean
I attended a weekend conference at this hotel so it was selected for me. The staff were most friendly and my conference was excellent, but the hotel let itself down with ludicrous prices for food and beverages -- and my room had a ceiling of enormous cobwebs (see photo). One glass of red wine and a pint of beer was 13 pounds. The restaurant was full on the evening I arrived so I had to eat in the bar. My salad had 4 lettuce leaves and did not come with a dressing (see photo). The kitchen was unable to make a simple vinaigrette! On the Sunday morning notices in the hotel advised not to try and eat breakfast at the time most convenient for our conference. The hotel clearly houses more gusts than the facilities can cope with. It took 30 minutes for the hotel to find the manager to whom I recounted my difficulties -- and I have not received any form of communication since expressing regret.

Hotel very close to the Park & Ride tram station, which makes travel around Nottingham very easy. Our room was very comfortable and the extras we ordered were there when we arrived. Restaurant is good although I felt the menu was a little restrictive. Facilities such as the Spa were a very nice addition.

Geat place
The hotel was lovely, didnt get to use the spa, but the energy from the breakfast staff was on point. They were so welcoming so friendly, with a good sense of humor.

Friendly staff
Nice stay staff very friendly. Pool was Really nice although changing area seemed extra cold. Room very nice although had to ask for the mini bar to be restocked which had not been done when we arrived.

Disappointing
A nice hotel that is sadly showing signs of wear and tear. Our bed linen was stained and we didn’t notice until late at night. I phoned reception and was told they’d try to get it changed. An hour later and nothing so I called and was told there was nothing they could do - maybe they should have called to tell us that. Reception staff very friendly nice communal areas but could do with an update in the rooms.

Highly recommend this hotel
Our trip was just a stay over. My family live in Nottingham and we choose to always stay at the Belfry because it's clean and convenient. The pool and spa areas are again also clean. All the staff, in all areas are especially pleasant. The breakfast was A- MAZ - ING. Just an all round wonderful stay as usual

The lad at the bar worked his socks off, on his own to serve bar food, drinks and room service. Deserves a medal. The food was awful though.

Hotel have no moral ground.
We requested to cancel due to family bereavement and they would not give a full refund even though we had given plenty of notice. It was a non refundable booking but under the circs they could have given us a voucher for another day Hotels.com though we’re extremely helpful and I will always use them going forward

A great stay - but......
Accommodation was excellent, food was great and the restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. The only negative was the slow response from reception when we asked for additional bedding as we were very cold. We had to ask twice before any action was taken. Similarly the iron in our room was returned to reception as the pointed end of the heating plate was broken and missing. The promised replacement never arrived . Not the usual Delta Hotels standard in this respect only. All other aspects of our stay were great.

Nice hotel but room too hot to sleep in
The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was superb. The room heating, however, was too much, and we could not turn it down. It was cold outside and yet we could not sleep without turning on the fan in te room. Also the fridge in the room was not cold even though it was on.

Overall good but a few issues
Overall it was a decent stay, there was some mould in the bathroom and stains on the bedroom carpet, one of the hand towels also had a blood stain on so it wasn't great there. We did room service for dinner, the food sadly was really cold when it arrived which wasn't good. Breakfast was good and the room was quiet. Upon checking in the lady at reception told me the wrong room so I had to travel back down to reception with my heavy bag and get that sorted which was less than ideal, but she fixed the issue quickly.

Great stay minus the "satins" on the the seating in the room, shower could do with a clean as it's not very slightly having black mould. Overall comfortable, great staff and good food.
