« Very nice retreat to enjoy T or C. Beautiful front yard with nice grass, roses, and flowering plants . Front yard is fully fenced and good for small dogs. Back hot tub is private and a nice area to relax. 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Beds were good. Right on the healing waters trail for walking. Kitchen has coffee maker, tea kettle, stove, microwave, fridge. Screened front porch adds to places to relax. Recently remodeled and clean. On the west side of hot springs area, but very walkable area. »

« Cool little casita. Very private. There are some neighbors, but I never really noticed them. The stone construction keeps the house cool during the day. Good place for stargazing. There are hardly any lights in the neighborhood. Bring at least some cheap ($15 on Amazon) monocular. Shopping for groceries and restaurants are a bit of a drive (except the pizzeria on the 84), but that's the obvious trade off. Close to attractions, Abiquiu, o'Keefe stuff, ghost ranch, hiking trails etc. I...

The location was perfect for our birthday celebration getaway.Check-in was a bit challenging as we initially went to the wrong property, and then after we found the correct property on the other side of the street, we discovered we had entry instructions for a different unit. Fortunately, we were able to get immediate assistance from our location-site contact. Our host generously allowed us to keep a couple of packed bags at the condo after check...

« The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. It was located in the perfect area because friends live close by as well as the college, airport, a fun brewery, and good restaurants. Within walking distance. Check in and out was simple. The listing was not as accurate as we hoped. The photo show a patio with a fire pit, and that wasn't available. It is the property of the next door VRBO. That was a big draw for us, so we were very disappointed we couldn't use it. »

14. Single Tree Cottage - Walk to Downtown Chama!

« We were in Chama like many hundereds of people for the Cumbres-Toltec train ride agan this year. Single Tree Cottage was perfectly located near the station... not too close, not to far. We absolutely loved the place. Excellent kitchen, very confortable bedrooms, great dining area for the four of us, and a nicely arranged sitting area to gather and talk. We will definitely want to stay there the next time we visit. »
