Hôtel Centre-ville, Nuwara Eliya

« Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful »

« Good spot for a night on the way— simple and clean, with lovely warm service. Probably a bit overpriced but a solid, good option. Food was delicious as well and they accommodated all of our needs. »

« Great views, rooms just ok, but fine for the price. Breakfast was mediocre, but satisfying and served with a smile. »

« I had a nice stay, but to be honest I was expecting more from a property of this standard. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable, however the sheets, towels and dressing gown were pilled, the curtains didn't go to the end of the window, and a cracked tile in the bathroom had been badly repaired. I also found it difficult to mix the taps in the shower to get the right temperature and there were no instructions on how to operate the heater. All in all I didn't feel the quality of the...

« Conveniently located, renovated old british era cottage. Loft room was ok but noisy, bery little sound proofing between lower level and upper. Plumbing was not the best as could hear a very noisy pump running throughout, pipe hammer was loud. No choice of food was available for dinner, did not try breakfast. Short stroll into town, across muddy track and diesel spills at the corner gas station. ymmv depending on what? Islamisized facility. »
