Beautiful well kept home. Lots of room for our family and very clean. Well stocked kitchen. The home had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The golf cart was very much appreciated. The host was exceptional, very prompt in his responses and resolution to our requests.

Beautiful and Clean!

The house was amazing, very spacious, and super clean! We enjoyed relaxing on all the porches and enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. The beach was a super close walk and it was amazing to have a fenced in backyard for the dog. My family vacations at the beach every year and this was the best house we have stayed in.

We absolutely loved this property. It was the first time in years we had a private pool/hot tub and this group loved that feature. We had plenty of space for all our guests and never felt crowded. Kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to prepare meals. Golf cart was helpful getting to the beach with all our stuff but the walk was also easy. Property had a nice variety of beach chairs and toys. Extra garage fridge was helpful and the outdoor bathroom was great. Plenty of extra blankets and the property was extremely clean. Decor in this house was also very tasteful and made it feel like home at the beach:)

Excellent beach house

My friends and I had a great time at this beach house. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious kitchen and living room area as we made meals and relaxed and watched movies. The golf cart was nice to check out this area of the island as well! Highly recommend!

Fantastic house

This house was beautiful and well maintained. The backyard and pool area was fantastic for hanging out with our two small dogs. We could let the dogs play in the yard while we enjoyed the pool and hot tub without worrying that they could get out of the fence. It was very secure.

Great house for a family gathering!

This house had so many amenities to keep our big family happy! The pool area with hot tub, bar, tv and firepit was our main hang out area when we were not at the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked for families that love to cook. The golf cart was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this house.

Property was very clean, spacious, and perfectly located. 2 min walk to the beach or 30 second golf cart ride. Pool and hot tub were on point! Property manager was easy to get a hold of and took care of minor issues quickly and easily. Certainly coming back!

Wonderful Beach House

What a great time we had cerebrating 4 generations (94 yrs old-3 mos old). The house was beautiful, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything you needed. The beach was a 4 minute walk or a quick golf cart ride away. The pool was awesome option instead of the beach. Loved every thing about Oceans One!

Very Disappointed with first impressions

Nothing was cleaned on the outside ie, hot tub, pool, garbage left from people before, grill not cleaned and no fuel. The filter in the refrigerator needed to be changed. Other then that, the living accommodations were great for the family. Also, the short walk to the beach.

Ants! Nice home, but dirty.

Beautiful home, if it is clean! If not for the ant infestation, it would have been a five rating for us. Two members of our party had to go home due to ants in the mattress in the yellow queen room. Other minimal problems present as well. When booking, be ready to bring your own cleaning supplies and check all rooms/spaces for ants. In addition, the egg chairs listed in photos were not present and no pre-warning was given.

Perfect!

This home is the perfect place for families with dogs. There isn’t another house on the island with such a large, well cared for, fenced in back yard. The pool and hot tub, and tiki bar, are wonderful additions. The kitchen really is chefs grade. Refrigerator in the garage near the pool, extra bonus! And the golf cart was so nice for evening trips out! It’s in a quiet location but literally so close to the beach, with all the beach gear ready for use! The layout of the rooms and all of the decks and porches made this a memorable family trip! Property manager responded quickly and handled a very minor issue. Just can’t say enough about this gem! We wanted to book this home again for next year before we even left! Can’t wait to come back!

Great vacation

My family and I stayed at this fabulous house and beautiful island. It was our first time at this property and first visit to Oak Island. The weather for late fall was perfect, the house and everything it had to offer, clean, spacious, warm, inviting, not to mention all the amenities it offered. Big backyard with pool, hot tub, and more, was like having our own hotel resort. We could lay out and rest, our have fun with all the amenities they offered I would definitely recommend this house, Oak Island too, to everyone. We’ll have to return to this house, and explore, visit more of Oak Island and the surrounding areas Lastly, the property manager of this house was absolutely great. I communicated with him, before, during, and after our stay. He was efficient, helpful, nice, and very prompt with details/ information for us. I highly praise him for wonderfully customer service. Most enjoyable stay!

Absolutely Perfect!

This home is amazing! Our family all agreed- this is the best house we’ve ever stayed in at the beach! It’s spacious, SUPER CLEAN, and well-maintained. This home has a lot of special touches that truly make it your “home away from home” for the week. They even have baskets of throws to cuddle under in the evenings, doggie dishes, beach towels and chairs, lots of games- all great little amenities! Our family cooks a lot and this is the first rental we’ve stayed at that truly did have EVERYTHING we needed to prepare meals for the week. Don’t bother bringing a thing! Not sure it’s listed in the description, but there is a frig in the garage which is super helpful to stock drinks and really handy when you’re enjoying the pool or packing coolers for the beach. There’s also a bathroom on the pool level which is super convenient. The proximity of this house to the beach is fantastic! It’s an easy walk (even our 3 1/2 year old grandson walked it a few times) and the golf cart that is provided makes it a quick trip and also helps with getting all the beach stuff down to the beach quickly and easily. Last but not least, this management company is great. James is who we had the pleasure of dealing with, and he is fully attentive and will answer your questions promptly and with such genuine hospitality! He truly is awesome! We will definitely be back!

Very clean kid friendly house!

Check in was a little tricky. The code we were given didn’t quite work to open the door but customer service was very helpful and got us right in. The house was very clean upon arrival. They provided a pack n play, high chair and they had a gate blocking off the top floor so my 1.5 year old could roam free so that was nice! The elevator worked wonderfully which was also super helpful when you have little kids that need carried up and down stairs. It also made unloading luggage and groceries a breeze! The pool and hot tub were also very clean and so nice! The fire pit was utilized a couple of times through the week and it was so relaxing to sit out in the big back yard and observe the strawberry moon! We did not get to use the golf cart simply because the beach was such a short walking distance and didn’t feel the need for it but I’m sure it would have been great also. The kitchen was nicely stocked, not so organized but not a huge deal. All the rooms were great size and everyone felt comfortable. The only negative thing Is the internet. The master bedroom tv had to be reconnected every time I turned it on and one night it didn’t connect at all. My phone also did not work on the wifi so I just used my own data through the week. Oh and also, the house did not have a mail box and I tried to order a jumper for my son through Amazon and it was undeliverable because of that. Besides that we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

Perfect house for our reunion/bday party!

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home for my husband’s 70th bday party. We had family and friends down from Virginia and local church friends to gather for the big day. It was perfect for ages 6-70. We loved the house, the decor, the pool, and the elevator. I brought way more than I needed for food preparation because the kitchen had so many nice things from platters, serving bowls, nice utensils, pans, and knives. And everything was so well labeled in the kitchen! I didn’t even notice the small drink fridge in the kitchen until the last day. I looked and wondered if it was a 2nd dishwasher? Duh!! We were surprised that the windows didn’t have screens, but the evenings were so cool that bugs weren’t an issue. But if we come back, we’ll pick up a couple of those small screen inserts from Lowe’s. We couldn’t see the ocean, but could occasionally hear it. Though we watched the tide come up on the street on the sound side of the house. The features of the house mattered more for us than the view. Also, the bathrooms were nicely equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The master commode is in a tiny room so those who are vertically challenged might have a tad trouble. (Husband is 6’ 4” and son is 6’8”) We were all pleased with my choice of vacation home.

Everything was wonderful. This is the second year we have stayed at this home. We love it, just miss the gas grill.
