This house is extremely well designed to fit a large group without feeling cramped. There are two large living spaces so kids can be on a separate floor to hang out, which was great for our group. The house is a super close walk to the beach and there are tons of chairs and beach towels for guest use, which was a huge bonus. The pool and pool area were great for kids and adults alike. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were really nice. We had an excellent stay and would absolutely return. Two things I would note are the house does not have a separate fence around the pool, so the lower level opens directly onto the pool deck and the only lock on the sliding door in the basement is on the handle, not out of reach of small children. The town of Ocean Isle also doesn't have lifeguards on the beach but does have a Very Active beach patrol. The town has recently outlawed beach canopies (cool cabanas included) and beach patrol is aggressive about enforcement...not a negative, just something to be aware of!

Great property to stay for a beach vacation very short walk to the beach, also has a clean pool.Julie offers many items that are never included with any rentals we have had in the past, no need to bring beach towels or bath towels, or even soap or shampoo it’s supplied. The best when packing leave the beach chairs at home because there’s 10 for your use.

Our family of 14 had a great vacation at this home. It was nice, clean, and well equipped for 14 people. The pool was a big hit with the kids and adults. The beach access was close….no need for golf cart!

5 Star House with great ammenities!

We had an amazing stay at this home with our big family group, 10 adults, 3 kids, and 2 toddlers, and it couldn’t have been better. The pool was a huge hit with everyone, especially the kids, and the pool toys made it even more fun. There were multiple hangout areas, which gave the kids space to play safely while the adults could relax.The short walk to the beach was super convenient, and we really appreciated all the extras the hosts provided; beach and pool towels, chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of toys. The amenities were top-notch, and the house was very well-stocked and comfortable for a large group.We would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a fun and stress-free beach vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in Ocean Isle, NC! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. The house was well-stocked with all the essentials, making it super easy to settle in and enjoy our time. Having a private pool was such a bonus, especially after long beach days. There was also plenty of parking, which made things even more convenient for our group. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first of our hopefully annual whole-family vacation. We ranged in age from three to 73. The six bedrooms on the two levels fit our needs perfectly. Kids and us active, hands-on grandparents downstairs with access to the pool, used at least dozen times a day, the quieter bunch upstairs, in charge of cooking and relaxing. We ended up bringing some things from the upstairs kitchen down to the kitchenette, so that we could prepare for the kids' meals and snacks more easily. Having the beach around the corner was an incredible feature, allowing us to take sunrise and sunset walks and spend hours and hours shell collecting. There was just enough to do in Ocean Isle; it seems we spent most time in water, though. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy, issues were addressed as they arose without delay. The outdoor shower with hot water was something everyone, even the 3-year-old, loved. A cleaner family could not be found last week!

House and the backyard pool area are great. Everything was well thought out and in great condition. We appreciate the amenities, especially since driving from out of state—beach towels, chairs, umbrella, toys & shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every shower, sheets and towels provided, and laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, trash bags, and first aid kit all provided. Super cute house and great layout for families.

We loved everything about this place! The outdoor pool area was the biggest hit for us all, especially on the days when the ocean was way too rough for the little to get their swim in. Loved that towels and sheets were provided.

Blended Family Vacay

The house is beautifully decorated and well thought out. There were two spots to hang out and have game nights as well as ample space for people to have space and privacy when they wanted to take a break from all of the family fun. The owners are lovely and very responsive to questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent home

Property was beautiful. Bedrooms are spacious and two living areas allow for lots of people comfortably in the home. 2 minute walk from beach. The only thing we were surprised by was the extensive “check out” instruction list, which was the most cleaning and washing requirements we have seen on VRBO.

Overdue for beach time with the fam

We had an amazing time at OIB, and at this wonderful property! The home is perfectly set up for casual comfort, gathering and game nights, beach amenities (chairs, towels, boogie board) and close proximity to all things beachy! Sand - MiniGolf - CoffeeShop - etc. LOVED THIS PLACE - my family told me it was definitely my kind of place and complimented it the whold time we were there. THANK YOU 3rd Row from the Sun!!!!

Amazing Beach Vacation

We chose this property due to the proximity of where our friends were renting the same week. This home was fabulous! Not only were we close to our friends, we were a very short walk to the beach, and a short golf cart ride to the shops and restaurants. The home had everything we needed from linens, to beach towels and chairs, a roomy outdoor shower, and room to spread out. Immaculately decorated, comfy furniture, and double laundry. We will definitely be back!

A great house and location!

The rental listing and reviews are very accurate with this property. It truly is a beautiful and functional beach home. The open floor plan of the second story was great. Very spacious with lots of place to spread out. Downstairs is great for the kids with games and their own little living space. The outdoor living areas are awesome. Screened porch and outdoor covered seating downstairs. The owners truly did make things available that I haven’t seen at other rentals. Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and beach toys. Games to play outside. The kitchen is fully stocked. We didn’t need anything they didn’t have. SO many great things about this house. I have no regrets renting this house for our beach week. Because I appreciate truly honest reviews there were just a couple things that I wished had been different. The only bedroom with an en suite bathroom is downstairs and isn’t the master (which would have been really nice to have). Also, the owner doesn’t ask their housekeeper to do the towels, it is the responsibility of each guest to wash, dry, fold and put away your towels before checking out. Just something to be aware of if that’s an issue for you. I will say that we had a small housekeeping issue upon our arrival and the owners were extremely responsive and were quick to make the issue right. We had several communications with them and they were wonderful to work with. Lastly I would recommend that you know each guest is also responsible for washing and putting away any dishes that you use before you check out. Because each guest is responsible for doing this and housekeeping doesn’t check behind, we discovered many dishes that were full of water and/or had to be recleaned, etc. It just didn’t give me confidence to use the dishes until we recleaned most of them. Those are truly the only things that kept me from giving a 4 star review versus a full 5. It really is a great house and is perfect for families.

Such a cute house!

We loved this house! Check in was super easy, we were greeted with a hand written note, the house had every amenity that we could even think of, the beds were comfortable, the location was great and it was decorated perfectly.. The 2 separate living rooms worked really well for us too.. The younger adults stayed downstairs and the rest upstairs. Thank you so much for a great stay!
