We had a wonderful time with our family. The house was a great place to unwind after a long day at the park. Our daughter begged to go over to the water park any chance she had. Property is safe and secure.

I have stayed at multiple properties here and by this company as well over the past 7 years, multiple times a year. Never have I experienced the terrible communication and lack of care for significant situations. This review has nothing to do with location as again we stay here often because of proximity to Disney and my family who lives just 5 minutes away. The place was clean but it needs maintenance - touch up walls and trim, missing controls for fans, broken blinds, AC/furnace that keep malfunctioning. But that wasn’t the worst of all. Multiple times power went out. I contacted the management company by phone text and message on VRBO and it took forever to hear back. They blamed the first outage on the power company but guess what, it wasn’t. The breaker OUTSIDE the home needed to be reset. We weren’t even told of this. We were without power for HOURS. After the first outage the furnace/AC wasn’t working and pool heater was not heating as it should. We had an additional power outage and again same story. I basically had to beg to get access to the private closet for breakers in the home. Again those were not it. Not once did management say check the breaker outside by the parking. It was my husband who thought to go out there because we parked by them to check. Truly my worst stay especially because of the lack of concern from the management company.

My Doctorate trip to FLA

Stay started out ok, but then things needed to be fix, ie microwave, washing machine, lights. It would be better if earlier checknin would allow communication to be ckear and timely with property management. Also confusion on who would provide QR codes for quests.Lastly a book with items to help with process would have been great

Property needs a good deep cleaning and could use a little updating. Missing blinds. Garbage can broken. Very dirty couch. Great location. Nice community pool but need your own towel.

Excellent stay- perfect for families

We recently stayed at this villa as my daughter was taking part in a cheerleading competition. We travelled from the UK with our younger daughter and also my parents. This villa is perfectly located within the Storey Lakes complex. There was a little play park directly across the road outside which my daughter used daily. It was a short walk to the main pool complex which had great slides, lazy river and a bar selling snacks, lovely cocktails and other drinks. Great for a chilled afternoon after a busy day at the parks. Villa was a five minute walk to a 7/11 store for groceries, a Burger King, Chinese and a number of other restaurants. There were so many other shops and amenities within a 5-10 min drive. A huge Walmart, Target etc.. all 5 mins away.Disney parks around 15 minute drive and we found traffic minimal. The villa itself was perfectly set up for our needs. It was clean, tidy and well presented. My daughter loved the Disney themed rooms! The little pool was the perfect size for us and was a nice surprise to have a couple of pool floaties for us to use. Kitchen had everything you could need- with a large fridge freezer and ice dispenser. Lots of pots and pans, utensils, crockery etc… Check in was easy- with a key code sent two days before. Communication with host was excellent.We would not hesitate to stay at this villa again for future trips to Orlando. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Family Property

This was a nice place for our family during our visit to Universal Studios. It is nicely furnished and the communication with the rental company was outstanding. The only negative is that the mattresses probably need replacing. They seemed old and worn out.

As expected and nothing more

Our stay was very pleasant and the host was amazing with communication. The house was exactly as expected. The one thing I found that could use some improvement is the number of towels per guest. There were no wash cloths and only 1 very small towel per guest. This is described in the listing so I was not surprised but did feel like we could have used some wash cloths and a couple extra towels. The clubhouse amenities were very nice. They were very busy and we had trouble finding a place to sit during peak times but the kids had a great time in the lazy river. We would consider coming back again.

While a short-trip, it was a good location and in a quiet section of Storey Lake Resort. It was directly across from a children's park which was nice if you are traveling with small children.

lovely rental for disney off site vacation

Location - perfect for staying off site and going to Disney daily which was the purpose of our vacation. It's close, (within 20 minutes of the parks). Traffic is terrible but that's not a problem VRBO can solve. Spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 kid). The pool is tiny but was great after a day at the parks or for a mid day break dip. Walls are thin and we could hear neighbors in the pool until very late. 2 things were a bit frustrating - 1. the lack of stocked supplies (ie only 1 roll of tp per bathroom - we almost ran out during our week stay, only 2 extra trash bags, only 2 laundry pods, etc). As we were flying, we didn't bring a ton of that with us and it would have been good to know up front 2. the towel situation - only one towel per person, no washcloths and no bars for handtowels near the sink and no pool towels at all

Lots of Broken Things

While the property itself and area/resort was nice there are lots of repairs that are needed on this property. Pool was leaking so had to keep refilling it The upstairs shower - the stopper didn’t work so most of the water went into the tub instead of out of the shower head, Dishwasher soap dispenser didn’t pop open - learned that after dirty loads kept coming out - so we had to place the pods in instead Upstairs toilet paper roll dispenser was hanging on by a thread and would fall off often We had no water for a full day and while the company acknowledged that they would fix the problem they stopped communicating with us for hours. The area itself is very nice but the property needs some upkeep taken care of and a DEEP clean. The cleaners also need to check drawers as we found trash in them and other items that clearly indicated cleaning is not thorough.

Great house and location

We had a week long vacation in Orlando and chose this house due its location, cost and amenities. It was clean and everything was very new in the house. The kids enjoyed the small pool on the patio and the larger resort pool was great! Lots of places to sit and hang enjoy the pool, lazy river, hot tub or little kids water area. the kids also LOVED the bedrooms. The communications with the property managers were smooth. The only downside that i can say is that the kitchen is not well stocked if you want to cook. Only one dish towel, no hot pads and only glasses for the kids...just the basics. We bought cheap washcloths, pool towels and plastic kid cups at Walmart /b/c the house does not supply those. A kids step stool would be amazing as well. We cook a lot on vacation so that would be our only deterrent to returning to the house.

Place was nice. Needs a pizza cutter and a pizza pan. I've seen this request before we stayed buy others in the reviews. This is a cheap necessity for the homeowner to remedy that many guests would use for a quick meal for families on the go. Upstairs bathroom exhaust fan needs cleaning. Fire extinguisher tag by the front door had not been checked or certified for a few years. While taking a shower in the upstairs bath, the floor underneath the tub/shower is very creaky and noisy when you move, FYI. The Stoney Lake access gate closest to 4947 Windermere which if I remember correctly was on Fable ST.? did not work using the barcode given. I witnessed others with the same issue and the call button had to be used to have someone open the gate to enter the community.

Very Nice!

We really enjoyed our stay! We actually went in to a really hot house. The AC wasn’t working but we messaged the host and they promptly sent someone over and got it fixed! The house is beautiful! I loved the openness of the kitchen, living room, and dining area. The kids loved their rooms. We went in February and the pool was cold so I suggest paying for the heated pool if you go in winter and plan to swim. We had family staying in a nearby home and they had their pool heated and it was very nice! We were a little worried about the refundable deposit after reading other reviews but we got our full refund back a few days after our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Nice area and house

The location and the house itself is very nice. They provide only one bath towel and one hand towel (no washcloth) per person for the entire stay. I switched dates (staying the same number of days) and they charged me without my consent. Communication initially was not great but during the stay it was fine. We never found the pool lights. Outside light did not work (We sent them pics as soon as we arrived) but no one ever came to fix it. The water park was very nice.

Beautiful condo in a beautiful resort near Disney - with strict rules so pay attention

This was a really great stay overall, and especially for the money. Usually places near Disney cost a lot, and for the money this was an extremely spacious and comfortable place. I did just want to say I felt like the strictness around how much you needed to keep the location in the same condition as when you entered kept me and my party walking on egg shells the whole time. That was partly brought on by other reviews we read before we went, and partly by all the paperwork we had to sign and all the signage around the condo that made you feel like you were going to ruin something at any moment. Perhaps if it's just you and your partner or adult friends, this is fine, but with our 18 month old toddler, this was terrifying. The main television had cable but wasn't a smart tv, just make note of that.

So Many Firery Hoops to Jump through

The property was fine , the property mgt is over the top. Why do you need a copy of my credit card front and back AFTER my stay is paid for? Why do you need a selfie and a license/passport? Why are they sending me an email saying if you steal decorations you will be charged......REALLY? The communication was awful! I sent an email that was NEVER answered. The property was NOT that great to go through all the trouble. After check out they charged me an additional $119 for a stained hand towel, bath towel and dish towel. I will be disputing that

Relaxing stay

Great property for our visit to Orlando. The waterpark was a specially enjoyable experience. The garbage disposal is not working in the kitchen, which made it inconvenient for doing dishes. We had a group of seven of us, which require doing dishes each day during her stay, and there was only two packets to do dishes. It would’ve been helpful to have additional dishwashing soaps, as well as a complementary packet of soap for the wash machine. Also to there were no potholders for cooking. It would’ve been helpful. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Thank for the stay

Nice Townhouse but beware of the Property Management company who handles the unit

We have rented a lot through VRBO and this is the first time we have ran into this situation. The townhouse it's self was clean and the pictures matched what we found. As for the owner he uses a 3rd party property management company, Wonder Vacation, who was terrible (you cannot reach the owner). I could probably write a small book about how bad it was working with Wonder Vacations. Here are a few of the highlights. They require you to sign a separate contract with them and will not answer any further questions through VRBO (even though that's who we rented through). Due to their system change we were required to sign multiple contracts and provide multiple copies of my drivers license, credit card front and back and a selfie. I've never had to provide this type of documentation before. They never disclosed that there was an additional $140 fee on top of what we had agreed to pay through VRBO. It took countless calls to them and finally through the VRBO rep to figure it out. During our stay we needed help but they weren't available. Sometimes answering the next day. The townhouse it's self was clean but missing some essential kitchen items (baking sheet for oven, hot pads, etc.). They charge extra for every little thing. This is also some new to us. Normally we work directly with the owner. We have stayed at this complex before and it is close to stores and easy to get to DisneyWorld. My suggestion for the owner is to find a new property management company.
