TERRIBLE!!! Filthy, outdated, overpriced, and awful host!!
Where do I begin? If I could give this home/host a lower rating I absolutely would! On the day that we arrived we had to wait at the property for over 30 minutes to get the keypad code to the front door and upon our arrival we were met with three overflowing disgusting trash bins outside in the Florida heat from previous guests that were never emptied. The inside of the home is very outdated and not well kept. The longer we stayed the worse it got! After traveling all day we decided to take showers for the night and try to get some sleep. However, there was absolutely no hot water and when I brought this to the hosts attention, she informed me that there was a natural gas outage in the area, which turned out to be a complete lie. In fact the next morning, when I reached out about the water issue, she informed us that they had been there to reconnect the natural gas, but we missed the appointment that we were never informed of and honestly shouldnât have been required to do. This is also when she informed us that the natural gas had been disconnected because she failed to pay the bill and that we would need to stay there for the rest of the day so the gas company could come back to turn the meter on. Due to a national convention being held in the area we were unable to find anywhere else to stay otherwise we would have left. The host gave us a small portion of our money back, but the money returned was definitely not worth the hassle or the price! Rent at your own risk!!!
