This beautiful spot is up about 1/2 mile from the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC.
The place with a funny name: Pickens Nose. Despite the weird name, this is a great spot to visit as it provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. This is a favorite tradition of ours but the last 2 years, the cleanliness of the facility is not up to the Brasstown Valley Resort standards.
