I didn’t know it was a duplex and thought it was a house so that was a surprise. I live in KY and know how humid it is here and they had a dehumidifier in the unit to help with that but there is a strong mildew smell throughout the duplex. « 2 stars because host seemed very polite to deal with. Other 2 star review very accurate. Heat was terrible. House wasnt clean at all. Mouse droppings found everywhere including on the griddle and in pans in kitchen. Throughout the furniture, bathroom stand beside sink and even on window seals. House and furniture smelled aweful. Mold coming thru bedroom ceiling. Open ended wiring just taped off in ceiling in living room. I feel it could of been great place if taken care of. »

« The property was as described. It’s a charming old farmhouse with a newly renovated kitchen with all of the tools you could need. Other folks mentioned that the plumbing is old and they ask that you put toilet paper in the trash cans not the toilet. That was not really a problem for us. The hosts ( and farm animals) were very welcoming. The property around the house is gorgeous and we loved the swimming pool. We didn’t leave the property for the whole weekend and had a great time! »
