Salty Dog est une maison de plage propre, confortable, sans prétention et accueillant les chiens, située à un pâté de maisons de la plage. Faites une longue promenade et peignez-vous pour les coquillages, ou détendez-vous avec un bon livre devant la cheminée après une journée de plaisir dans l’océan! Salty Dog offre beaucoup d'espace, un accès facile à la plage, aux magasins et à tout le plaisir que procure le coeur de la ville! Il y a beaucoup de vidéos disponibles pour les journées orageuses à l'intérieur. La maison offre deux chambres avec lits queen, salles de bains récemment rénovées, une cuisine spacieuse et télévision par câble.

Vous n'êtes qu'à cinq minutes à pied du parc d'État de Pacific Beach, l'endroit idéal pour pique-niquer, camper, pêcher, nager, ramasser des palourdes et balayer la plage. Le café Surf House Café se trouve à deux pât��s de maisons à l'ouest, et le restaurant Paddie's Perch se trouve à quelques pâtés de maisons au nord!

Check in was easy. Great location close to beach. Space was clean. Kitchen adequately stocked with cookware and dishes. But only had salt and pepper and coffee. No other spices, foil, baggies. Washer/dryer was nice. Great water pressure. Internet didn’t work reliably and we couldn’t get the tv to work at all. Luckily we got news on phones for tsunami risk. No tv to monitor the news. Lots of puzzles and games. Comfortable cabin.

Great location

This is a cute funky little house close to the ocean. It was not crowded & was quiet at night. It was easy to walk the couple of blocks to the shore. It was centrally located for trips to HOH, Aberdeen & both, north or south shores. It felt roomy inside with a nice kitchen & laundry room. 2 bathrooms were also very convenient.

Will Not Return or rent with VRBO & Vacasa again

The electrical outlet the tv and router are plugged into sizzles, bad electrical. If the router isn’t plugged in exactly right (it’s loose) there is no wifi or cable. The wifi is spotty to none and an unsecure connection. TV has no instructions, no internet for streaming, very frustrating Plugs don’t accommodate laptop three prong plugs. Many light switches and lights don’t work There is NO thermostat, it’s always either either hot or cold Sheets on one bed seemed dirty. The house doesn’t feel clean overall, drawers smell It’s an older house but there are some really gross things in corners, back entryway, mildew smells. Main bedroom curtain is see through, that and shades do not block any light Blinds in living room go up but don’t come down The first night I called Vacasa for internet problems. They said they filed a ticket but we never got any response. The rep on the phone should’ve told us about the local contact. It was dark and smallish print so I didn’t read the letter on the door with her number. The pictures are deceptive Trying to communicate while making reservation was hard, I got a "late payment" email after I paid for an extra night and the messaging cut off the body of the reply. Too much work, too much hassle I won’t book a VRBO with Vacasa again, this was the worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had.

Salty Dog visit

The house was comfortable and very conveniently located close to the beach. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The only complaint was the lack of a non stick tub liner.The tub was very slick and could have used a grab bar as well. The kitchen had new looking appliances; the fridge was large and the the stove had double ovens. The bedrooms were comfortable, and lacked only screens on the windows. All in all we were pleased with the rental and would return.

Good value

Salty Dog was nice and clean once again. Good place to stay in "iffy weather"! You get what you pay for here, a clean, dry place after any weather the coastal beach can deliver. The local radio station, broadcast just a block away - (from the "Wacky Warehouse") sounds just is just like being at and experiencing the environment of Pacific Beach, WA! Thanks !

Nice location, not nice house.

Please don’t stay here. The location was good but the house was not. Over a hour and a half late to check in because of late cleaning staff. Originally 4pm, then they said 5:30pm, which became almost 6pm. Did receive a partial refund for that time tho. The sheets had hair in them, there was spiderwebs and dust everywhere, belongings from previous guests left in the closet. The blinds in living room were missing a significant amount of panels leading to zero privacy. The big bedroom was missing a curtain panel which had little privacy as well. The floors were all uneven through the house. The inner front door dead bolt was broken, only the bottom would lock. There was a leak in the window in by the washer and black mold was growing on the window. Will say that the floors and hard surfaces were super clean. The cleaning lady was nice. Had to contact support multiple times throughout the stay and was helped promptly each time by helpful associates. I’d rate customer service a 5/5 for the guy I spoke too. I was told I would receive a partial refund for the time I didn’t spend there because I left early due to house conditions and I am still waiting on it. The beach was so good. My favorite place to go too. I love it so much and it is a great location.

Worst house ever stayed!

This house should be condemned!!! The floors are horribly uneven and makes it very difficult to walk from living room to either bathroom. Had to buy a knee brace for my 65 yo husband. All the rooms have uneven floors where floors are collapsing ariund them. Few new items..but house has no life and really rund down. Why?? why put your name on such a dilapidated home? We couldn't get no help from the # was given, and charging that cleaning fee for cobwebs and bird poop is wrong.

Great Value for the Area

While the house is old, it is a very good value. The floors are not level, some window blinds need repair, but overall, it is a good price for a dog-friendly stay. The appliances are all newer and in good working order. The flooring and bathroom fixtures seem to be newer and the beds are comfortable. A great price for accepting some wear in an old house.

Good location not so dog friendly

We were happy to find a place that was pet friendly and very close to the beach. This house is ok but I’m not sure we’d go back with our dogs. The backdoor only opens about half way and the yard was not dog friendly. You have to keep them on leash at all times since not fully fenced. There were 4 huge bags of trash sitting out that we had to keep our dogs out of. If your looking for a place to just sleep then that’s what this place is.

Shabby, deteriorating, crooked little house.

New large capacity washer and dryer were nice although it took an adult and two teenagers 10 minutes to figure out how to start the dryer. The sloped floors makes it a place with a fun house feel. We had hoped for beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, kites, beach towels) but were disappointed. Old, painted cupboards may have been clean but they didn’t look it. Great TV. Best feature: it was close to “drive on” beach. Grandson says, “A little fixing up would go a long ways.”

A terrific stay. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is during a rain the back wall of the kitchen area leaked A LOT of water and I had to spend A LOT of time sopping up water and drying towels so that the kitchen didn’t flood.

Great Location but…

We are not really picky but the Leaking roof +broken appliances + broken blinds + not really clean was a bit sad. We were crazy and did not read the reviews….hopefully you will learn from our mistakes. Lots of clean towels and clean bedding but the owners need to step up a bit and this would be fine

Sadly this place is in desperate need of a complete remodel from the ground up.

Place smells like mildew and roof leaked. Every inch of this place needs attention. Except the large bathroom. Laundry room, living room, bedrooms and kitchen. Sadly we will not be staying here again or ever going though this rental company. Check your pillows! Very yellow from age 🤢

Girls weekend

Our visit started poorly as soon as we opened the door. The overwhelming musty smell took our breath away. Although the house was clean, the musty odor was too much for one of our friends to stay and it triggered asthma and she needed to leave several hours later. The drawer full of left behind moldy bread was of no help either. We felt a little bit like being in a fish bowl as half the vertical slats in the living room blinds were missing. The kitchen window was also missing a curtain and peers straight into the neighbors kitchen. We were unable to get Netflix or Amazon for watching movies even though we had Wi-Fi. We didn’t think to bring a DVD player so movies on-site could be enjoyed. The house is roomy, and stocked well with linens and kitchen items - neat, clean and tidy. Location to the beach was nice. Wishing all of us could have stayed for the entire stay.
