Pathetically advertized

I have letters & photos to verify dirty, unkept property. It hasnt received any improement & yet offers many safety violations. From the cobwebs, broken fixtures, exposed & rotted deck. This property isnt worth looking at. The false advertizing and photos are not legal. As well asremoving all the bad reviews.

We rented this place for our parents 60th anniversary. We feel for the amount of money we paid pretty disappointed. we had a good time, however this place is tired, and not maintained well. Our main complaints are the lack of outside seating, not nearly enough chairs to sit around the campfire, which was the plan, and when my niece sat down with a plate of food the chair was broken so she fell out of it. The outdoor lawn space hadn't been mowed for a while, and the fire pit had 2 holes, we had to carefully place the firewood so it wouldn't fall through, however it did fall through. The couch inside is badly stained. I understand wear and tear but an affordable slip cover could make it a hundred times better. The landscape is overgrowing the stairs up the deck. The shower in my parents room wasn't working when we got there, however our hosts were able to fix it same day. everything in the kitchen did work, even though the counter tops are very beat up. We all had hot showers, and felt it was very clean. there are major pro's and cons to this place. just be aware of what you are paying for.

The home needs some TLC

Other then the ants in the kitchen it it was ok. The home needs some fresh paint and kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced. The amount of bedrooms with bathrooms is great. Beds were comfortable. The outside needs some tlc as well. Paint is a must. The hot tube worked great and the cover was replaced while we were there also was cleaned. Overall, It was fine. Iitvaccomidated our large family. coverwsreplaced while we were there.

Wonderful stay for friends

This is a great house for a bunch of friends to stay together for the weekend or so! Having atleast 1 double bed and en suite bathroom per bedroom was well appreciated between 10 friends. Great views and well appointed furnishing. I will say there's definitely some wear and tear, especially the deck could use a repaint, and some linens had a smell to them. However my party was very satisfied with our stay and would book again!

Nice property with great views. However, it does need some attention. Driveway is a bit overgrown, Hot water has a rotten egg smell, and indoor fireplace did not work…. But overall it was a good roomy place to get family together…

The house needs some attention

You need to make the address visible from the road. Take down the bed and breakfast sign. We had a lady stop and ask if there was any room she could rent. The deck needs boards replaced and painted. You could use more trash cans. The house inside was nice. Plenty of room and the hot tub was a huge hit with the kidd

Needs a lot of paint

The property was wonderful for our group of 14 people. Everyone appreciated having their own bathroom. I paid a lot of money for our time there, but there is much maintenance that needs to be done, principally to the outside. It did appear that some upgrade has been started as one deck is new. A new kitchen counter and new/or resurfaced dining table needs to be accomplished. otherwise, the inside was very clean. Hot tub was serviced just prior to our check-in.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

This property is great for a family & we were greeted with a nice bottle of local wine upon arrival. Everyone had a bed & their own bathroom and that was huge. The kitchen could have been bigger for the size of the house and the house could use some TLC. Internet was horrible and we had to use our own wifi from phones to watch TV all weekend. The water pressure and plumbing drains were equally bad. When I brought this up to our contact, I was told that "yes the internet is bad and the house was on a well!" No offered resolution or any compensation. So, most showered very little and I had to pay overages on my own internet. This was frustrating as it was Thanksgiving weekend and we are a football family. However, the house fit our big family of 18 and kept us in one place for the weekend.

A Weekend Retreat

This property is in a beautiful location, the views are so peacful! The sleeping arrangements are great for larger groups. The kitchen and living area are a little small for the number of people the house sleeps, but there is lots of great outdoor/deck space! Overall, we were please with the house.

We had a great time

The location was amazing and the space was very comfortable. We only had 2 issues. 1st, the instructions for wifi login were incorrect on the house binder. 2nd, there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, but I don't think that had anything to do with the owners or cleaners. I suspect that people who stayed there previously put them away like that.

Run Down

This property has a nice hot tub and the convenience of lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. However, this is where it ends. This property is highly overpriced for its condition. From no curtains or screens on any bedroom windows to no sand in the beanbags for cornhole, this place needs a major overhaul. Repairs needed to be done in every room of the house and the outdoor railing is quite rickety. Warning: there are no rails on the first few steps leading into the home. This was dangerous for our elderly family members. The trash was already full when we got there. We let management know but nothing was done and by day 2, we couldn’t even sit on the porch because the smell was so bad. We did let them know both propane tanks were empty and a new one showed up the next day.

Beach house vacation

Really pleased with the house, peacefulness, quiet. Just what we were looking for. No complaints other than it was hard to find the place on checkin day. Instructions should have said”Eagles View” as it’s a dangerous road, limited view of driveway. No useful sign or mention of “Swell House”posted. House address numbers not visible enough Check the barbecue burner on far right. It was flaming at the hose connection to grill. . So we didn’t use that burner Ceiling light switch’s not working in entry way, nor ante room to master bedroom and several upstairs switches not working /or need checking. Sliding glass door in master bedroom not working, difficult to move.

Disappointing

The Swell House was disappointing. Although the space is large (lots of rooms and beds!), the hot tub is nice, and the view is gorgeous, the house itself was run down and looked nothing like the pictures. The house needs new carpet, paint, living room furniture, deck maintenance, and a kitchen refresh.

pacific city large home for large groups

the house was a little rough around the edges - no window curtains, sub-standard linens, deck in bad shape. not the "luxury" property we were expecting. Did not like that the listing, nor the checkin instructions, give contact info - was a huge pain to go through vrbo customer service to try and track down property mgr when we had problems. the property was not worth what we spent.

Graduation celebration/family reunion

This house is an amazing property for lots of families coming together. Plenty of space, lots to do, and amazing quiet location with spectacular views. There was even a good amount of parking. I would absolutely book this property again. The house is in need of a few small repairs, nothing detrimental to our stay but the sliding glass door in the master was incredibly difficult to open and close. Additionally, if you need reliable and strong wifi this may not be the best choice of properties. The connection was difficult to maintain so if needing to stay connected for work purposes be prepared to go into town for a good connection as needed. Property management through iTrip was incredible, best experience I’ve ever had with a property management team. They were super friendly and very quick to reading to any questions/concerns.

Family Gathering

We just stayed at the swell house for almost a week . It is very spacious for a large family and the view from the property is outstanding. The home had some quirks, no dressers in bedrooms which everyone commented on, some upgrades are needed, but I feel the price reflects this. These things are very minor in comparison to the assets of this home, and certainly did not diminish our enjoyment of our time together. I would absolutely stay here again!
