„Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). “

„Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Alles war wunderbar, eine sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber und so eine schöne Aussicht! „Nice location between the shops and Waitangi Treaty Grounds. I was able to walk into town for groceries in just a few minutes - it's a lovely walk too, just above the shore. The ferry to Russell and Oteihei Bay is right there as well. There's a park with a playground at the end of the street. Paihia Apartments have a washer and dryer in the garage, plus a small kitchen. The owners are friendly. We enjoyed our stay. “

My wife and I are in our 80's, and walked to the ferry to Russell, shuttle to Waitangi and the Inter-City bus to Auckland.Our host made sure we were comfortable and safe during Cyclone Tim. We ate excellent, interesting food at 4 of the many restaurants on the wharf, main street and one on Williams Rd... a short distance from the studio. We were met by Jane who showed us around the property, recommended some trips for our short stay, places to eat and walks - all were excellent suggestions. „The ocean views were amazing! Falling asleep to the sound of waves was a joy. The house is beautiful with huge windows and decks on 2 sides and was well stocked. It was a great jumping off point to see the Treaty Grounds and museum, a boat ride to Hole in the Rock (we saw whales!), and a drive to Cape Reinga. “
