I would give more than 5 stars if possible!

We stayed for a week. We had the family there: my husband, our three children (17 years old, and twins who are 10 years old), and myself. This was a family vacation and also time to show our son the surrounding colleges. I consider myself picky, so you can consider this an honest and thoughtful review. The home is outstanding! It's very beautiful, clean and inviting. The pictures are accurate and a wow effect upon arrival. The heated salt water pool and spa (that both also light up at night) was fun for the whole family. There were even some floaties and the putting green had plenty of room and all you need to start your fun right away. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. The area has outstanding restaurants. Every meal was a winner. The rooms are spacious and there were plenty of towels and all the necessities. Pictures are hard when you don't get to personally inspect the property first, but we had only praises and no complaints for the entire week we were there. The home is very modernized and felt like many details were seriously considered when they did their remodel. From the very beginning the owners were welcoming and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know about the house and the surroundings. They are pleasant and kind and genuinely care that you have a good experience. They even left a welcome basket and offered to have the spa going for us when we arrived. They also checked on us along the way yet not intrusive. Just the right touch! Hopefully we can come back soon and when we do we will for sure stay here! You will be very happy if you rent this wonderful home!!

Fantastic Hosts / Great Home

We visited Palm Springs for a quick getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the home. The property was as advertised with a fun backyard with a lot of activities to keep us busy. There were a lot of small surprises (alcohol provided, food staples, technology upgrades, etc.) The home was extremely clean and comfortable. Communication with Sophie was fantastic. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Modern & convenient

Our host Gavin was fantastic from check in to check out he made sure we were so well taken care of. One of my friends got to the house before we were supposed to offically check in and Gavin let her put some food in the fridge so it wouldn't spoil while she came to get me at the airport. There were also lot's of personalized touches waiting for us when we checked in. The house itself was such a great place to relax and hang out in. Laying in the salt water pool listening to tunes while the others watched a basketball game on the outdoor tv was a highlight and then soaking in the jacuzzi in the evenings was a perfect ending after a day of hiking. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves heading back to Palm Springs!

Desert Park Estates

This property was lovely! Very state of the art, modern and clean with many extras. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of 5. The backyard is definitely the selling point! The pool, the outside tv, fire pit, grill, putting green, foosball table and so much privacy. Very quiet neighborhood. The weather was less than optimal with winds, but we were thrilled to basically have movie theater quality tv and sound to hunker down for movie days. The kitchen was well stocked and had the basics, including coffee fixings, so when we arrived late at night we did not have to run to the market. In our opinion Sophie and Gavin are superhosts! They really took the time to make sure our trip was perfect for us, with tips of where to go and what to do. They were always available for any questions and were lighting fast with response times! They are just very kind people who want others to have the very best Palm Springs vacation. We are hoping to go back again in the near future! This property is a not-to-miss , total gem!

Perfect Palm Springs Getaway

We just finished a perfect week in Palm Springs, thanks in large part to this vacation home that the owners have set up to make time spent there so lovely. The house is so well thought out, comfortable, perfectly decorated, easy to keep tidy, and just so inviting in every way, both inside and out. We were especially grateful for the pristine Weber grill, high quality cotton sheets, quality and abundance of knives, cookware, food storage, cooking basics and our essential - a coffee grinder! The outdoor games, putting green, pools and fire table kept us entertained so well that we barely left other than for hiking and grocery trips. The hosts have given ample attention to each and every detail of the house, and were immediately responsive to any question we had. My husband, our boys and I absolutely loved the home, the plentiful outdoor spaces and the quiet neighborhood location that is close to hiking, retail and downtown shops and restaurants. In fact, we almost hesitate to give the glowing review that the house deserves because we want to keep this gem to ourselves!

PERFECTION, fabulous Palm Springs home

Amazing experience. So much attention to detail. Lovely hosts who went far above and beyond any previous vacation home experience I have had, and I’ve had many. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. (There was even a large outdoor TV which we used to stream an outdoor yoga class!) Hot tub divine. Well equipped kitchen. Communication was above and beyond as well. Hoping I can stay here again someday.

Modern Comfort in Palm Springs

We so enjoyed our stay at Sophie and Gavin's: The home was better than expected. All the normal amenities were provided, but the extra touches like a welcome basket and charging cords next to each bed were appreciated. The pool area was lovely and private - we enjoyed morning sunrise coffee and evening dips. The hosts were attentive and very responsive to any queries or issues we had. We've stayed in many VRBOs, and this one has been the best experience. If we're back in Palm Springs this home will be our first choice.

Brilliant place.

Changes to our original plans to have my family of six stay for a few days in the warm weather led to only me staying at this brilliant place. It is sad they missed out! I cannot say enough how welcoming the place is. It is equipped extremely well from the kitchen, bedrooms, pool, yard to the lovely central music. I recommend this place for sure. Excellent location in great neighborhood. The grocery store is a 15 minute lovely walk. It is minutes in the car. It is the perfect place.

Christmas Get Away

Sophie and Gavin are exceptional hosts with a magical desert property. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a modern and cozy feel. Fantastic home and hosts!!

Home is just as pictured. A private oasis. It has all the amenities of home and then some. Comfortable, clean, spacious and entertaining. Has something for everyone-never a dull moment. We enjoyed lounging at the pool, playing miniature golf, having lunch outdoors and spending quality family time. The attention to detail are evident as soon as you walk in the door. Paradise in Palm Springs

We had the most wonderful vacation, enjoying this amazing home! It is a spacious, beautiful, fully equipped respite, to enjoy as a couple, as we did, or as a family. The modern, mid-century vibe, along with the state of the art electronics, offer visitors the comforts of home, with the amenities of a luxury resort. The yard is not only equipped with an awesome pool with the most relaxing hot tub, it also has an outdoor seating area with a TV and fire pit, a putting green, a corn hole set up and a hammock for laying around enjoying the serine, peaceful setting. Everything you could ever need to have fun in the sun, and more! The owners were so very kind and attentive, even leaving snacks and beverages for us to help ourselves to, as well as a bottle of wine as a gift to celebrate our special occasion. I highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning!
