« We stayed two nights here and absolutely loved it! We travel a lot and this was definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in a while! Deb and her husband are great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable! We enjoyed coffee and banana bread (that Deb made and left for us!) on the porch and looked at the beautiful view. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in town again! »

« We fell in love with Wasilla and the ease of getting anywhere from the house. It was still an easy drive to Anchorage to check out top attractions and look for moose. This home is a short ride to several lovely trails and lakes and is on a quiet dead end street. Host was easy to reach with quick response when I reached out. « Driving into the neighborhood of the Cottage made us feel at home. The property is very inviting and cozy. The inside of the cottage is bright and welcoming. The kitchen is perfect size for the 2 of us and everything was cleaned, labeled and ready to use. The bed is very comfortable and the mountain view from the bedroom is amazing! We enjoyed being able to walk up to the front yard area to enjoy our coffee and more of the view also. Almost every day of our stay we got to see moose in the yard...

« We came to Alaska for a week to visit our son and his family. The house was spacious with renovated decor and very comfortable. We hosted a family dinner several nights and had more than enough room to gather. Our grandchildren enjoyed the toys and art supplies left by the hosts. We would highly recommend this property. « Our stay was wonderful! Not only was this house close to the ice rink and town but it was also very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone in the kitchen or hanging out around the table. The grill worked great for some tasty steaks. The deportation was nice with the adults choosing the two rooms upstairs while the kids stayed downstairs in the two rooms that had twin beds. « Had a great stay at your property. Had plenty of room for everyone. Property was in a great location for our outings to sightsee SE Alaska without being stuck in a city. Cynthia was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. The "House book" was very helpful, with suggestions on local resturants and events. Lots of great art work and tastefully decorated. « Our family and friends enjoyed our stay in this spacious home during our travels in Alaska. It is a perfect place for a large group as it is amazing how many beds there are. « The Artist's retreat was a delightful place. It felt like we had stepped into the comfort of grandma's house. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. The kitchen had plenty of accessories for us to cook meals. We enjoyedbthe collection of books, the pianobwith tons of sheet music and the nostalgia of the VHS player and tapes. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided everything we asked for and assisted immediately when i had trouble accessing the property at check in. »

« 4 master bedrooms with private bathrooms and a large kitchen. What else could you ask for? Unbelieveable stocked kitchen with all the staples included. 2 full size refrigerators and 2 washer and dryers We hiked Bodenburg Butte first morning and then hit Independence Mine( still snow covered in Mid May). The Butte hike took about 2 hours and was well worth all the stairs!!! We stayed on top for a half hour enjoying the view Felicia is an an amazing host and quick to reply. We had no issues!! »

« Chose the cabin for a two week anniversary adventure! The cabin offered everything we wanted… beautiful views, comfortable and safe inside & out, felt like being at home. Haley & Landon were awesome hosts and had great suggestions of places to go & see during our visit. Location is great to allow you to venture and see all that Alaska offers… but 2 weeks was not enough! We will be back & will plan to stay at the cabin again. »
