„We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. “

We spent nearly the entire stay on the screened porch listening to the birds, watching the horses, goats, and chickens and enjoying the quiet serenity of the country. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We wondered around the property and soaked up the country, ate some amazing farm raised eggs, and made several excursions to nearby Monticello, antique shops, UVA, and 1799 at the Clifton for dinner. „The sunset sanctuary was the perfect location to stay at. It was perfect because the lake was shallow enough for the kids to stand and deep enough for adults to swim. There was also a beach side that our kids loved to play on. It was also very close to my favorite ice cream location, Tim’s. The location on the lake was prime.The house itself was impeccable. Clean, functional, and beautiful! The house had many large living spaces for the family to gather, while also providing smaller locations ...

„Charming. That's the word for this little house. Two very comfortable beds (separate bedrooms) for my friend and me. The big farmhouse dining table was perfect for a jigsaw and the front iving room was bright and airy. On top of all this, there was not a speck of dust anywhere...it was sparklingly clean.I'd book here again in an instant.“

„We had a fantastic family gathering in this lovely home. It sleeps up to 10 comfortably, which is hard to find. It is on a quiet road in the country. The kitchen is large, has nice appliances and works well for a large family. The most amazing part of this home is the outdoor space and view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are several outdoor spaces set up to take in the views. We have already booked it for our next visit to Charlottesville. “

„Our group of friends had a great stay here! The house is as shown in the pictures and the location is great for visiting Charlottesville and the surrounding area. Ample street parking is available and there were plenty of towels and dishes. They didn’t have a long list of items to do to checkout which was nice since everyone had to get on the road early the last day. Definitely recommend! “

"Positiv: Valet Parking Team toller Einsatz, Service und Speisen in der Sportsbar Negativ: Verhalten der Rezeption beim Empfang. Danach hätten wir schon Abreisen können. So ein Umgang mit einem Kunden geht gar nicht! Sauberkeit: Haare der Vormieter in der Dusche. Schimmel ebenfalls in der Dusche Türe am Balkon war nicht gangbar und konnte nicht verschlossen werden. Frühstücksservice. Es ist scheinbar ein Fehler ein Frühstück hier zu buchen. Es hat lange gedauert bis wir klären konnten, dass 20 Dollar angerechnet werden bei einer Bestellung. Ein Frühstück ist dafür aber nahezu mit Steuern nicht zu erwerben in diesem versnobten Haus (Kaffee, 2 Toast mit Marmelade, 2 Eier und ein Orangensaft, was wir als normales Frühstück beschreiben würden, geht nicht). Kaffee dann kalt und abgestanden. Bedienung max. unfreundlich "
