« We had a great stay at Pheasant Hill, and would stay again on our next trip up to Julian! Easy check-in and great communication with our hosts. Very convenient location to Main Street and Julian itself exceeded our expectations. Our dog Franklin especially enjoyed the accommodations. »

« I absolutely loved my stay here. A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The property has amazing scenery, is clearly well loved and well maintained. Entering and leaving was very easy, clear and straightforward with the directions provided. If you’re thinking about staying here, you won’t regret it! »

« Our family stayed here for a weekend fishing trip to Lake Cuyamaca (about a 10 minute drive from the cabin). It was absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. Our family had everything we could ask for in terms of supplies and “at home” comforts in the cabin. The host was great and very responsive. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the patio area with the old California oaks and the other pretty trees throughout the yard. Make sure you go out and drink in the starry skies at night, too. « The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash...

« Sweet cottage, perfect for our family of 4.Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of towels/blankets. Appliances look new. Didn’t do any cooking on this trip but kitchen looked well stocked with anything we would need. Cara was easy to communicate with. Check in was very easy. Good location near downtown. »

« We greatly enjoyed the little house, it was exactly what we were looking for! Everything we could need! Be sure to follow the owners directions to the house, not gps, they are different so trust hers. I was nervous arriving after dark, and if the roads were wet or icy it may have been difficult. But it was a dry lovely weekend. Stay here! »

« What a fantastic safari-like experience! The place was very tastefully done (think senior British officer's tent in 1800s) with all modern amenities (and wifi, if you dont want to unplug). Host Lauri was very communicative and easy to work with. We'll definitely be back when we have moree dayss. »

« All I can say is the attention to detail was amazing! From the kitchen, to the bathroom and everything in between!!! We had everything we needed to make it the “glamping” experience we were going for. Even the pillows were comfortable (and that can sometimes be a hit or miss). We loved it so much, we decided to extend our stay, which we took advantage of right away after seeing a magnet on the refrigerator that it was offered for a 50% discount. « We had a great weekend celebrating my sisters 40th birthday. This house was was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially the big windows! We loved learning the story behind the home and the Littlehale family. It was the perfect get away. Would definitely stay at this home again in the future! »
