The only thing good about this rental was the location and the fact that it was literally across the street from the beach. Other than that, we did not have a good time and ended up leaving our vacation sooner than expected because of the overwhelming cigarette/mildew smell that continuously came back even though we went and bought an air purifier to help the situation. In addition to that the bathrooms were not clean. There were stains from apparently the previous stay that were still in the upstairs bathroom sink, there were stains in the upstairs shower and even mildew on the shower door lining. My husband literally went to the store and bought cleaning products and just cleaned the shower himself and at that point, we really had a hard time, trusting the overall cleanliness. What was especially off-putting were the roach traps that were on the countertops in the kitchen as well as under the kitchen cabinets. I understand that it seems they want to control pests however, there are other ways to accomplish this if there isn’t a complete roach infestation that should be dealt with on a deeper level. Even the carpet on the spiral stairs was filthy. The bedding seemed to to be clean but again trust was an issue here so we felt it best to leave this rental early, even though we had already paid in full. I would not recommend this place, especially if you are particular about cleanliness and overall air quality.
