Very saddened by this rental

I stayed here with my partner and grandmother for a family vacation back in May. We were all super excited to be here because the other part of my family was just on the floor below us. Checking in was a nightmare because there was no guidance at all. It told us they would send us a code but in reality you have to drive/ walk over to a building to get keys until you can get in. Which we got past the time it said we could because it was being cleaned. The views from this condo are absolutely beautiful. The best part of the place. The cleaning did not happen as they said. The tables were filthy and the hall way has two OBVIOUS food particles on the wall. The coffee table we cleaned ourselves so when my nephew came up we could play a game and the rag was so dark from it not being cleaned. I could deal with all of this. But the most RIDICULOUS and absolutely aggravating part of this trip was our last day. My partner and I flew out early and has to leave for the airport around 5a. Which left my grandmother the only one at the condo. As we were taking our things down my partner and I realized that our keys weren’t working anymore. At 5am when check out was still hours away, my grandmother tried hers and it didn’t work either. She was stuck in the condo for the last 5 hours of her trip because she had a key that didn’t work. When I called to complain about this the only excuse I could get from “customer service” was we must have had them too close to our cellphones.. which is not true. All three stopped working the exact same morning and worked fine late into the night our last night. The rudeness we received when confronting them with our issues is what made it hard to believe we had just spent a 1,000 to stay in a condo which was filthy and has workers who made you feel more like a pest then a guest.

Not as expected

The condo was ok. I don't feel like it was as advertised. We had no hot water the entire weekend. The bed in the master bedroom felt like it may fall at any given time. It it also located on the very top floor (22nd floor) of the condo, which I think would be nice to list for those who don't want to be that high.

The view is wonderful. I'd you are up early enough, abt 7 ish, you can see stingray and daulphins

The only problem we had was the water heater didn't work well and we took luke warm showers. Also, the floor didn't seem to have been cleaned. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice property

The condo was clean. (Even inside coffee maker, which is a pet peeve of mine.) Only problems were the ice maker did not dispense ice through door, and as I was trying to look at it noticed mildew inside there. Probably glad it didn’t. We just bought a couple bags of ice. Took me a minute to figure out TV. Instructions would be nice. Noisy with the bedroom in the front by walkway. Loud people woke us up nightly. Temperature was. 77 in room. Never could figure it out. Had to use a fan. Kid pooped in pool, so it closed one day. Bed was really hard and shower was never more than LUKE warm. Sinks were HOT, but never the shower. Just needs a few minor issues on this condo. The pool area is fantastic, elevators are good, parking is easy. Will stay at Boardwalk again, probably not in 2207 though.

Nice Vacation

We enjoyed staying here. Condo was a bit dated, but served its purpose. We rented for a great price so can't complain. Condo was clean and staff was very friendly. We were thankful for the heated pool and the one hot tub that was working since it was cold during our visit. The only thing that was poor was the shower was luke warm all the time. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach and pools. Our kids had a great time. Family friendly.

Nice getaway

The check-in was quick, not overly friendly but professional. The condo was nice. There were some stains on the sofa but we just covered the whole thing with the sheets provided for the sofa bed. There were some people smoking weed on the balcony below us and some loud/rowdy people outside our door around 10-11p both nights but otherwise we had a great trip. We will consider staying there again.

Great View

We were at the top of the resort which we loved. The view was unbeatable. Parking and elevators were close, and the beach access was perfect. Only complaint is that the furniture was dirty. All the cushions from the livingroom and balcony need to be cleaned, and there was a small amount of mold around the bathroom vent, but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Dirty Dirty Dirty

The place was filthy. I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean as soon as we got there. Grease stains all over the furniture. Dirty sheets, black floors. There was construction over our floor and it was noisy early in the morning. The pullout couch mattress was so old you could feel every spring and the foot was higher than the head so it made you sick to your stomach. All around the worst place I have ever stayed.

Boardwalk Condo's

Check in was very easy. and emplloyees were friendly. All was good until we got to the room. The thermostat was set on 69, but the temp read 85. We immediately reported this to customer service and was told someone would be up to check it out. We waited for more than an hour and then called back. We were told once again that a maintenance person was in the building and would be there soon. At 9pm I called again and just asked them to be honest with me. I was told that no one would be coming until the next day. Someone from maintenance did show up and did some adjustments, but we were told that the rooms on the 22nd floor (top floor of building) should not have been rented due to the hurricane that came through last year. the roof had been blown off and there was no insullation. In addition the condo for very dirty. The furniture was stained and torn. Nothing like the pictures portray. Fortunatly our daughter and her family were staying on the 21st floor and we stayed with them the entire 5 days. I cannot be critical of this entire building, but whoever is responsible for making a decision to rent rooms on the 22nd floor should be fired. We ran into numerous people who had the same problem. Before you rent a room in this condo on the 22nd floor make sure the roof has been properly repaired.

Enjoyed my time at the condo. It was a bit confusing at first finding where to go to get the condo keys but the parking garage guards were very helpful. The condo is located on the 22nd floor which allows for great views of the gulf of Mexico. There were some things which I wish were addressed. The matress in the bedroom was terrible. Had to sleep on the bunk beds. It would have been better if the room had a king size bed instead of a queen but the room is so small a king size would not fit. When you flush the toilet it is so loud and it runs for a long time. I wish there were more pots, pans etc to cook with. The furniture needed a definite up grade. The couches and chairs were dirty and stained. If all thoses things were addressed then it definitely would be worth what was paid to stay there. All in all it wasn't terrible but it had the potential to be better
