The condo was fine for what it was, but definitely not what I expected based on the listing. I booked an oceanfront room specifically for the balcony and view, only to find out after arrival that it was completely inaccessible — something that was never clearly stated during booking.While there was a general disclaimer on the website mentioning that construction “may impact” beach, balcony, or elevator access, it didn’t explicitly say that I would not have those amenities. Had I known the balcony would be completely unusable (or that the building had no beach access and only one working elevator), I would not have booked this unit. Only after I complained about the balcony, did they post a notice on my door and send a text that explicitly said that there was no balcony access.The air conditioning stopped working at one point — it was repaired the same day, but still added to the frustration. The unit also wasn’t very clean: fixtures were dusty, there was mold on the curtain, and stains on the bedspread and lampshades.Guest services were polite and responsive but not flexible. Despite acknowledging the situation and the inconvenience, no discount or meaningful resolution was offered. Overall, the lack of transparency, cleanliness issues, and unwillingness to make things right made for a disappointing experience. The location itself has potential, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless major improvements are made.
