I want to be fair about my experience. when I initially booked this site months in advance, I booked it based on location and the reviews however, closer to my departure I noticed that there was only one review and it was very poor. I can see why. The problem is the pictures used to advertise are not accurate. There was some AI generated furniture put in that is obviously not the furniture that is actually in the property. The Jacuzzi is right outside, but it was often closed for repairs. This apartment is at the very top of an old building and is not enclosed in for Walls but has a wall of glass and a sliding door as an entrance. If you are concerned about security, this will be disarming. There is mirrored wallpaper on the glass so it’s difficult to see in from the outside, but you can see into the apartment so you must keep the shades closed. People often wander up and may try the door or the back door because it appears to be an exercise room. I requested a change but ended up staying at this location because it was very convenient to the school I was attending. It had a microwave, full refrigerator and hot plate. I used additional security measures on each door for my comfort and made sure the shades were down when I left. Overall, because I like the location I stayed but I would not rebook. I stayed at this location for three weeks. It’s also very difficult to sleep during the day because of skylights directly over the bed. Casco Viejo is safe. People are friendly.
