Hotel Panama

« Great place to stay. 2 excellent safaris where we saw a lot of wildlife including leopards and there was also a pilgrimage so we saw that too. Room was fine. Excellent food and drink reasonably priced. Loved it. »

« Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. It’s not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. »

« Friendly welcome on arrival. Perfect location right on Arugam Beach, walkable to all the beachfront restaurants, and about 5-10 minutes to the high street with plenty more restaurants, bars and shops. Our room was quite basic and small, but perfectly sufficient for 2 people staying a week. Clean, with linen and towels changed every 3 days. Nisha and her brothers are on site at all times and were always helpful with questions or requests, and served delicious breakfasts every morning. They also...

« One or maybe the best hotel with pool at the beach in Arumgambay. The rooms are rather small and basic but OK compared to other places. A fridge would be a nice addition though. The bathroom is also small and basic, and we had a lot of ants the first days (but that is kinda everywhere). The WIFI was "so-so" but that was kinda everywhere in Sri Lanka (better off buying a SIM-card). The service and staff was excellent and everyone was helpfull and service-minded. Big thanks to the older yoga...

« Excellent value for money. Ideally situated just off the beach. The owner is extremely kind and will go above and beyond to help you out. »

« Fabulous beach view, helpful and attentive staff, quite, clean pool. Would happily recommend »

« This property had its pros and its cons. Pros ✨Friendly, welcoming staff and always happy to see you ✨Location to the surf, shops, bars and restaurants, undeniably spot on, 5 starts for that alone. ✨Spacious rooms with air con ✨Reasonable price Cons 🫠Restaurant, bar and coffee not operating as I think it is now low season and everyone is getting ready to shut down for the end of the season so we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the advertised amenities 🫠It’s a hostel pulling in young...

« Would recommend. Room was clean and large. Location excellent- on the main strip but property itself is quiet which was good. Friendly staff »
