« The actual property location on Expedia is incorrect, only when receiving the Sykes confirmation was the correct location stated. I messaged the property owner via Expedia to request a cancellation but received no reply. The chalet is fairly dated but clean. WiFi has to be paid for at £10 a week which seems a bargain until you realise it’s unusable most of the time. « This was such a lovely, quiet stay, the home (Cottage 3) was well equipped, warm, and extremely comfortable. The facilities at the pool were great and the kids loved it! Communication on how to enter, exit, etc was perfect - no issues, no complaints - thank you for the wonderful stay. »

« River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. « Beautiful location. Modern interior with usb plug sockets and everything needed to hand. Jonathan is a great communicator and is a local so can respond quickly if needed. »

« It’s wonderful place. Mainly owner is helpful and people on reception are very friendly. Location wise this resort is perfect everything is nearby beaches, shopping. This place has all facilities what we need for everyday’s lifestyle. Around resort has kids play area, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, restaurant…Had really great family vacation. »

« This was our first time visiting Cornwall, and we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of days with the family. Unfortunately, the accommodation left much to be desired. Finding the cottage was challenging as the directions provided were unclear. We ended up having to stop and ask locals for guidance before finally locating it. The cottage itself was pleasant in some ways — we loved the beach-themed décor, and there was a generous selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs for us to enjoy....

« The place was cheap, but I would say bad value for money for a number of reasons, outlined belowBad - black mould on bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor...

« La maison correspond tout à fait aux descriptions et aux photos : confortable, bien équipée, une vraie chambre séparée, une cour commune calme et très proche de belles plages et de la ville. Newquay est une belle station balnéaire avec de nombreuses grandes plages, idéal pour se baigner, s'initier au surf... A bientôt sûrement. »
