« We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. »

« Nice young lady showed us to our room which was nice. Only thing needed was a chair ( there was a stool. All areas clean. Good shower . Asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, yes, done. Lovely little dining room. Food was good. Big telly ( eyesight not good so beneficial for me) , plug sockets both sides of the bed. Good hospitality tray. Comfy bed. Bar was open until late but our room was quiet. Nice atmosphere in bar. Good welcome for breakfast, efficient and friendly service....

« The room wa clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant. There were a couple of 'issues' when we arrived. TWe couldn't get the bedside lights to work and the radiator was very noisy and not heating. We mentioned this to the staff and both issues were sorted straight away (the fuse switch on the wall had been turned off, hence the lights not working and th radiator had an airlock and needed to be bled).There is some noise from the bar below but this ends when the bar closes at 10.30 and then...

« Visiting in my own I stayed 3 nights at Prince Rupert. Fantastic location right in the centre. I had a lovely friendly welcome, the staff at the desk were very helpful. The room is nice, small but very clean tea/coffee making facilities, very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Good breakfasts. I had a couple of dinners at the restaurant - very friendly, good food. My only complaint is the horrible Richard Claydermanish music in the restaurant! Thank you for my nice stay. »
