« We loved the location and the house. Deer Island is a very unique place on Hilton Head in a pine and palmetto forest where the deer come out to forage in the evening but within easy walking distance to Harbour Town. The house was like being in a treehouse looking out into the forest. Everything in the house was clean and well furnished. A great way to enjoy Hilton Head without being in the typical row of condos. »

« We enjoyed our stay on Deer island, however the cost of the cleaning fee (which I normally have no issue paying) was a little disappointing when we were expected to clean more than I’ve ever been expected to clean at a VRBO or other rental. The rental itself was very pleasant but I would be hesitant to rent this one again because of the cleaning expectations. »

« Great place to stay on Tybee! Large living areas and 4 bedrooms, however one bedroom is on 1st floor without access to bathroom on that floor. Also, the pull out couches upstairs in other bedrooms were not functional. Recommend replacing or getting daybeds for those areas. Beds are soft and plenty of pillows and blankets provided. Kitchen was well stocked. Wonderful decks on top 2 floors with view of ocean, even if it's between tree tops. Great location on North Beach walking distance to...
