« Lovely bungalow and a credit to Barbara. Spotless and located in Amble about 10 minutes from the harbour area. Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. Would highly recommend and would happily book again if we returned to the area. 👍 »

« Perfect stay. Such welcoming hosts. Property was easy to find, so beautifully decorated, and very quiet. Our room, like the whole property, was pristine. So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. And breakfast - vegan, gluten, and normal options, freshly cooked, delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you »

The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. « A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access. »

« This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly. »

« This was a lovely place to stay for business. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food and drink were great. The only things that could be improved would be getting rid of the dirt and mould on the shower screen and bath edge and changing the shower/bath mixer for a better quality one to control the shower temperature without fluctuation. As the venue attracts a lot of working travellers why not offer an earlier breakfast at 0700 or even 0630. More people might take it up then. »

« This hotel is “ rustic “ a little and it is a pleasure to stay there. The room was big and plenty of drawers and cupboards. The bed was really comfortable. The service at the meals was amazing. Food great. Not a huge choice but easily enough to choose from. Would recommend this hotel. The only drawback is the difficulty of parking as the town is small and there are few places to park near. »
