„Watch out for hidden charges at check-in. £50 taken from my bank immediately on top of the room charge. If I wanted to purchase anything extra, I would have paid at the time of purchasing. Now having to wait for a refund. This was not transparent enough in the T&Cs even within the confirmation email. Lifts old and creaky despite £3m upgrade, shower tiles grubby, mini bar only stocked water and wasn’t clear if this was complimentary, broken usb port by the bedside and heating system didn’t work ...

„The property is a little dated, the curtain and carpet was rugged over in the main house. The mattress was hard and didn't feel like a 4 star property. The steak was also not great for the price. The stay is a premium rate and good for a one off, but wouldn't rush back unless there is some renovation. “

„Overall very good. Not to be picky but the reception man upon checking out at 6:30am could do with some customer service skills. No eye contact grabbed my room card, no did you enjoy your stay was more interested in his phone before muttering to me is that all and sighing when I asked for a receipt“

„The family room was very small for an actual family. Two beds, but really one bed and am uncomfortable sofa bed. Not much room to move around and chill once they were both up. Also everything was bit tired and dated. Marks on the wall, the blinds and the door was very very chipped. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was fab. Shame that the opening and closing hours of the pool are restricted for children. “
