Beautiful days as 8 of us set out on this easy 10k hike on the 3 Falls trail. Derek was by far the most spectacular.

Escape the crowds and camp at Poland Lake in Manning Park!

The trail starts at the Strawberry Flats parking lot and takes 2-3 hours to get to the lake, where there's a toilet, bear cache, and small shelter. There's a large flat grassy area and a couple spots with fire rings by the lake.

The lake is great for swimming and fishing, and best of all you won't be stuck behind a queue of people to get there.

16 km round trip, $5 backcountry fee per person per night.
