Great location. However, that is the only good thing I can share about this property. I would never have booked this property had I known that in order to get into the property, you need to walk 1/2 mile away to get the key, and then 1/2 mile back to the property. You only get this information 30 minutes prior to check in, so it makes planning for it properly difficult. Walking an extra mile, with all your luggage, down crowded streets, especially with two young children in tow, after having travelled all day is not convenient or ideal and in fact is a huge issue given this was not disclosed at any point prior to 30 minutes prior to check in. The property is extremely dirty and not kept up - mold in the showers (a lot of mold!) and peeling wallpaper everywhere. The furniture was so dirty I laid towels over everything before sitting on anything. There was not even hand soap in the bathrooms - the guest must provide that themselves - that is a bit ridiculous. There was only one small wastebasket - smaller than a bathroom waste basket for the rental, which is not reasonable especially in the kitchen area. Remnants of the last visitors stay were all over in forms of left behind ticket stubs and maps. The apartment was very small and should not be rented to more than 4 people, max. Communication with the host was extremely lacking and problematic. The property had a very distinct smell of mold/sewer coming from the bathrooms. This property was very misrepresented.
