8/10
Family of five (Americans). We enjoyed our stay in the property, but it was a little off since this is someone's fulltime residence. It is not hotel-clean. A 10-min walk to the nearest Metro station. The good: it was spacious and comfortable for five people. Our kids are teens, so two got beds and one slept on the couch. The bad: AC is only a portable unit and only cools one room. This was a little rough due to the weather while we were there. We moved it to the living room, then the bedroom every day. The main bedroom mattress was HORRIBLY misshapen - we did sleep fine, but it was inches higher in the middle than the edges. The coffee maker was broken and I tried to tell the property manager repeatedly and they just kept saying I was using it wrong. There was construction going on the exterior of the building while we were there on the non-Eiffel tower side of the building. Blocked our view, but not of the important side. That should be temporary, but it was annoying and we did not know that was happening before we got there. An automated check in would have been much better. We did have a lot of back and forth trying to meet the manager on site at the time of check in. That was a hassle since he was at his normal job.The awkward: Maybe since we're from the US we have different expectations, but there were no toiletries provided - shampoo, body wash, etc. That was weird. There was no top sheet on the bed, I found that odd.
