The location was decent and the property itself appeared clean, but the listing was very misleading. When we first arrived, our room had no towels or hand soap. After requesting towels, we were given damp ones hours later. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, when we asked for soap, staff handed it to us in a teacup and told us to fill the dispenser ourselves.
The bathroom was poorly set up, with no shower curtain, causing water to spill all over the floor despite our efforts to keep it contained.
Amenities that were expected were either unavailable or nonfunctional. Breakfast was not included, and WiFi did not work at all during our six-day stay. Each time we asked about it, we were told someone would fix it that day, but it never happened. We were initially on the 7 floor and told the WiFi didn’t reach that high, so after several days we were moved to the 3 floor yet it still didn’t work. The only reliable connection was in the lobby. We ultimately had to purchase eSIMs to stay connected in case of emergencies.
When we reported that the heat in our room wasn’t working, staff dismissed the concern, saying it was summer and heating wasn’t necessary even though it clearly was not summer and nighttime temperatures dropped to 30–40°F. We spoke to the manager multiple times, and the only compensation offered was a free breakfast on our final morning which did not make up for the experience.
I would not stay here again. In my opinion its two-star rating is too generous.
