Wedding weekend
We got married at the Bloomfield barn and this VRBO was perfect location. i used it the night before to make bouquets and the kitchen island was great to utilize for that. It was spacious to get ready before the wedding. My husband and i felt like it was really serene and he was able to fish. It's gorgeous to look out the kitchen or master bedroom at the lake. I would say the only negative is the master bedroom the bed is super high and hard to get in.

Eclipse 2024
We rented this lovely lake house for a family gathering to view the total eclipse. The house was perfect for our group of 6. The lakeside setting was so peaceful and beautiful. The host was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house and host for you vacation needs

Great Place for an Easter Weekend with Family
This was our second time staying here and we couldn't have been more pleased with both stays. The kitchen has everything you need and the TV in the basement is great for watching sports. We also did a little fishing and spend quality family time on the back deck overlooking the lake. We will be back!

Family Thanksgiving
This house was perfect for us while visiting our mother in Paris. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and watch TV, play games, or gather in the family room. We enjoyed most of our meals at the house thanks to the spacious and well equipped kitchen. It was a great space to cook Thanksgiving dinner. We also enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise on the lake- a beautiful location.

Plenty of space for all
We enjoyed the house and the property. Plenty of space and nicely appointed. Use of the firepit was enjoyable and the fish were biting. We had everything we needed during our stay.

The perfect home away from home!!
We stayed there for 5 days when we went to the covered bridge festival in Indiana. The home was so nice that we ended up staying there, instead of the festival, for a couple of days. The beautiful fall colors, acorns dropping from the maple trees, the rippling lake, our quiet oasis, comfortable beds, couches to snuggle up & read, great kitchen to fix our meals, washer & dryer, are a few pluses. This home was older with everything brand new! Deck & walkout basement with patio furniture galore. Wish we would have planned to stay longer. The host had everything there we needed to enhance our stay.

Great Property!
We had a mini family reunion to enjoy the Parke County Bridge Fest. The property and home were great! Julieta stayed in contact and answered all of our questions. There are also some really good restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this property.

Quiet Lake House
My friends and I enjoyed a nice quiet weekend at this house. The property was clean and the kitchen was nicely supplied. The outdoor spaces were very nice and cozy.

Beautiful layout
The house was just as described and perfect for a big family. I really loved the outdoor space. We were happy to find it was even equipped with some baby gear. The lake is nice too. We would stay here again.

Great lake house family vacation
Beautiful house! Had a blast with my family. We hadn't seen each other in 20yrs. Great family reunion! Only bad was the owners spying from their jetski. Didn't bother me except the lack of privacy. I know it was them because they returned their jetski that Sunday night and I recognized the guy. Other than that it was great! Thanks again!

We are very sorry that you felt "spyed" when we just wanted to get the jetsky out of the garage which is not attached from the house and it didn't take us 5 minutes to get out of there( we try to do fast) the least we wanted was to make you feel that way, we apologize for it.

Girls (in our 60's) weekend!
Spacious, very clean house was nicely supplied with coffee and kitchen utensils. We cooked some meals easily. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely lakeside setting.

Wonderful Home!
We had three couples getting together with our parents in the area. The home was great with room inside and out for family activities. I suggest supplying more bath towels but that won’t stop us from booking again.
