I have no hesitations recommending a stay at this wonderful home with the exception of a noise item which I have listed below. « Our family (myself, wife, 17mo son) was absolutely impressed with everything about this property, neighborhood, and town. We were spending a long weekend in the area visiting family in Kankakee and this was the perfect home base for us. There was plenty of space for us and had all the amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms) for us to feel comfortable and welcome. « Property is lovely. Neighborhood is nice, well kept and quiet. Train runs through at the end of the block, but we barely noticed it. The house is immaculate and very well equipped. Landlord is very understanding and patient. There was a minor misunderstanding over the # of guests staying and all the equipment brought in. The bride & groom did the whole wedding by themselves. « Our stay was really nice…! We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is located in a nice neighborhood. We would like to “highly recommend” ceiling fans and televisions in every bedroom and a television in the basement. The basement is very roomy but no television ☹️. The location of the house wasn’t far from Chicago. Very easy access to several restaurants and shopping areas ( close proximity). »
