The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the $30 fee to check in early. If the room is ready, which it was, why not let someone check in? We sat in the lobby and waited one hour to be able to check in. Ridiculous

We do have large groups here and they tend to hang around either in the pool area or by the smoking area. They don't want to crowd into one room so they go outside while it is still nice.

Thank you for your review of your stay. I do apologize about the hot tub issue. People unfortunately damage property that takes time to repair. As for the early check in fee, that is corporate policy. Hopefully it will not sour you against staying with us again.

The manager at the front desk was very kind. Everything was clean and great. My only problem was the mattress was not my favorite

I am sorry about there not being a lot of space for clothing. Unfortunately, that was the way Hampton designed the rooms. If we could alter the closets in the rooms, we would make them larger. I do hope aside from this you enjoyed your stay during your time with us. Hope to see you again soon.

After looking into your reservation information, you were a No Show on the night of Jan 18th. Your room was checked out on the 19th after we did not hear from you. I am not sure how we did not honor your reservation when you did not even show up for it. If possible we will need more information on this issue.

I am ALWAYS happy with Hampton. UNTIL NOW. They are charging $30 to check in early....even if not using the room. I arrived early and was meeting friends for the day. Would not be back to the hotel till at least 8-9 pm. I asked to pay for the room, do all the paperwork and run my charge card, then get the room key when I returned. I was told I would have to pay $30 to "check in early". I told them I would NOT be in the room, just wanted to get the paperwork done and have ease of returning just to grab the key. NOPE. Would NOT agree to this. They said I was officially "checking in" and had to pay a fee. I told them never mind, I will check in when I return at 9pm. WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THIS???? NOT happy at all. It wasn't checking in....I wanted to take care of paper work. And response would be appreciated.

I am sorry you did not have a good experience. Reading your review, I believe the mistake made was with the request to pay. For us to charge your card prior to 3pm, the computer will register it as an early check in due to you having to put your card in the machine. I am sorry for any misunderstanding.

Everything was great. We have stayed at this hotel 3x already and are always happy with it. However the hotel rooms are lacking safes in the room and also the water pressure in the shower was not that great. Other than that we are happy with everything.

When we arrived to check in, the Hampton Inn front desk representative said that Orbitz overbook our stay and so they (The Hampton Inn) moved our reservation to the Best Western Hotel next door. The parking lot was not packed and it seemed a little strange, as we have never had this happen to us before, but it was late and we were tired from traveling, so we went and stayed at the Best Western. It was not as nice and the beds weren’t as big as the Hampton Inn. Come to find out, both hotels have the same manager. I’m still waiting for my receipt to see if we were charged the same rate or given a discount per the cheaper hotel.

Unfortunately, when rooms are booked online they do not pull that room from stock immediately. It can still show being available for a while before it shows rented. There is no way for us to know if the room was actually still available till we look at the reservation. As for the parking lot being empty, there was a concert on Saturday night when you checked in, and most guests were attending it.

NEW RULES
Stellar staff interactions, as always. Kind and friendly, as always. Before, if you arrived early, (and tired) you could check in reasonably early,(say 60-90 minutes) without an issues. This time, I arrived 90 minutes early and was forbidden to check in. The staff regurgitated the new rules that they were clearly being held to.....you CANNOT and WILL NOT check in early. If you do, there is a FEE associated with it. (This is NOT the fault of the staff, no malice intended.) Staff merely doing their job. BUT COME ON HILTON !!! 60 to 90 minutes early does NOT warrant nor justify more money for you. How about this....let people check in and get the process complete, but don't hand out a key until the golden check in hour....Just thinking out loud.....

Decent for Parker
Great except we chose to stay at the Hampton because we stay at the one not too far in Havasu, AZ. We are river goers and the Hampton in Havasu allows for us to fill up our cooler with ice (they have a specific ice machine for it) which is awesome, especially in the midst of the hot summers. This one has machines with signs posted telling guests they have to buy ice from the front desk with cash only. Not really convenient for the river. Also our room was decently clean except the lotion and hand soap in the bathroom had beard clippings stuck to it and not wiped down! SOOO GROSS!!

We LOVED the healthy food snack options available for purchase in the lobby. It’s not often you find healthy snacks. The Hampton Inn anywhere I’ve stayed has a reputation of quality and upscale standards. Every one has been beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and the breakfasts are wonderful. This one in Parker is no exception. It has ample boat parking in a dirt lot across the street.
