« This is a fantastic VRBO property. The access and views of the beach and Lake Superior is stunning and relaxing. We spent 3 days with family and enjoyed making dinners, sitting on the patio with the chiminea and taking walks on the beach. Great hosts and fantastic amenities. « This was a great location for getting to the Houghton/Hancock area for bars/restaurants and still seeing the rest of the Keweenaw. There was a great beach around the corner with grills and tables. The house itself was very spacious. The kitchen and dining space were well sized for preparing meals together. « This is a very well maintained and rustic cabin / small house in a quiet neighborhood just a mile or two from the bridge in Houghton. We could walk to the ski trails and had easy access to US-41 and downtown. The cabin was clean and very well cared for, had window A/C in the upstairs room, and had plenty of room for two. The neighborhood is full of trees and was quiet without being isolated. We would certainly stay again if we come back to Houghton. »

« The condo was spotless with plenty of linens, towels and kitchen supplies. Nothing was fancy but the place was comfortable. Easy for a group. We only had contact with the cleaning staff ( they were very nice), otherwise everything easy and digital for check in/out. The only complaint is that sometimes it gets busy and parking in front of your place is tough. Highly recommend. »

The highway can be a little noisy at times as other people have stated. But I signed up knowing it was there. Beach area has concrete steps that are uneven getting to beach. Just adds to the charm. »
