« Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

« We really enjoyed our hilltop stay. We had everything needed for our stay. The place is tastefully decorated. Beds are comfortable. Took a walk around the town. Very quaint. Last morning of our stay we went to the local diner (on the main street in town) for breakfast. Highly recommend for small town charm. »

Be forewarned that there’s 15 steps to second floor. I’m old, I was out of breath. Adequate air conditioning but the room would have cooled off faster if I could have opened a window.
