Wonderful stay

Beautiful home and wonderful host. We enjoyed the pool and the beds are super comfortable. Great gameroom. We appreciate the attention to detail, cleanliness, amenities to start us off and thoughtfulness.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay there. The only negatives were the yard wasn’t mowed. Was told it would be mowed, but no one ever came. We saw 2 cockroaches, so pest control needs to be stepped up. Owner was sometimes slow to answer and I would have to resend the message to get a reply. However, the house itself was beautiful. Plenty of room. While we didn’t have small kids, it would have been nice excellent for a family with little because of the toys and gear provided to use. Location was good. Despite the negatives, I would stay here again.

great place overall

We stayed several nights and loved the overall layout of the house-several bedrooms but master separated from each other so both had own space. We loved the fenced in yard to bring our dogs- it was a beautiful property. The only slight negatives which were not really huge for us: pool was not cleaned (only leaves and debris on the bottom so nothing crazy) we had children with us so they loved it regardless and we skimmed the pool several times during our stay. Showers run out of hot water fast. Dishwasher was not broken but also pretty hard to navigate with trays not going into right places/falling out so slightly broken. Check in instructions was a few hours before actual check in (GPS took us to the back side of the property which is in a not wonderful area but luckily front side is in a very nice area so just be careful on where you turn on streets)- I am pretty type A so was nerve wrecking to not get instructions sooner. Also no formal rules like most places do along with no check out instructions but luckily have stayed at plenty of places so no big deal to mostly navigate (just wanting to respect property). All of this to say: I know it is new ownership and they are working to fix things… but some of the previous reviews are slightly true… but also we all would definitely stay there again because it really fit what we needed. (Yard, screened in porch, pool, room and overall owner was very nice and accomodating)

Blue Angels Getaway

We were in town for the Blue Angels Homecoming show with the Thunderbirds. We enjoyyed the game room. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. If you plan to cook pots ,pans etc are scarce. Overall the home met our needs.

Great Accomodations

We visited Pensacola for a family wedding. This house was a great fit for our family. The young kids enjoyed the game room as well as the older kids/adults ;) Upon arrival the house was very clean. The host is very accommodating and attentive to her guest. Would recommend this house if you are in the Pensacola area.

Perfect for Families

We booked this place because of the pool. It was great to have a screened in patio for the adults to rest and a pool and swing set for the kids to play. The game room Got plenty of use and was a separate space for the kids when it was raining. The house is beautiful and cozy. It is located a few ways from the beach but we really came to go to the pool and relax. The house shows pictures of a fire pit and a baby crib. These are not actually featured in the house when we got there. We brought a one year old who had to sleep in the queen bed. The pictures don’t show that in the master bedroom, there is a toddler bed and small play room. Our stay was great. This place could have used some attention to details. There is a broken stool that goes to the dining room table, the can opener does not work, the coffee maker gives an error message when being used, and the queen bed sinks down when trying to sleep. I did have to message the host for check in instructions the day of the stay, however once we spoke he was very attentive. We had to use the physical key to enter because the digital lock didn’t work. We all would recommend this place again. It was a great place for two families to spend a vacation.

Beach trip with family.

Overall stay was great! We enjoyed the pool and the backyard. The house was clean and location was not too far from the beach. Neighborhood is in a subdivision with many nice homes. Communication was not the best due to the Host not being as assessable because of his job but he did get me in touch with a person he has taking care of this property. The trash was full from previous week but someone did come out to take care of it. The kitchen bench was broken and could not be used which was a bummer. The air hockey table needs new pieces but it works. All of the issues were minor compared to the overall stay. Those things can be easily fixed. I would definitely stay here again in the future with hope the bench is repaired or replaced.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The kids had a blast in the playroom & pool with plenty of room for the parents to spread out and relax. When there were any concerns we had, the host was readily available & answered our calls immediately. Overall it was a wonderful place for our family to come and celebrate our graduate.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed

The swimming pool was filthy, which I ended up cleaning myself for approximately four hours, so we could at least swim in it. The garbage disposal did not work, the coffee maker did not work, the washing machine did not work, the house was filthy, there were holes and dirt and spiderwebs all over the walls and baseboards, Only two people could shower without running out of hot water. There were absolutely no items or amenities, not even a dishcloth. The Laundry room area had dirt and lint all over the walls and floors. The Cleaning closet was unlocked, once again, putting our children at risk The yard desperately needed mowed as it looked terrible.There was lighter fluid and bug poison in the pantry, where we were supposed to keep the children’s food. The air hockey table was broken, the TV in the playroom did not work, the karaoke did not work, and the darts were broken. I attempted to contact the host several times a day with no response whatsoever. I also called VRBO several times without any help at all. I would like a refund and/or some sort of help with this situation. I will never ever ever use VRBO again.

Great location; quiet neighborhood

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is easy to find, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The entry keypad can be a little tricky to ‘wake up’ to enter the code. The house was very clean and furnished nicely. After we got settled in, we started noticing several things that weren’t 100%. I notified the owner each time I found an issue, and he was quick to respond. We were only there for 2 nights so not enough time to correct the issues. Pros: great location, good neighbor, king bed was super comfortable, bedroom fan was awesome!!! The game room is great for teens, and there are many accommodations for smaller kids as well (crib, toddler bed/toys, high chair, etc). The kitchen had a Keurig as well as an air fryer. Cons: kitchen table bench was broken. Pool was dirty (no time frames were communicated but the house was booked bc of the pool so that was disappointing). The ice maker in the freezer did not work. The sink was super slow to drain/backed up on the disposal side. All of those were minor inconveniences; however, the most disappointing thing was the washer would not work. We were there for a soccer tournament so we REALLY needed the washer. Overall, I would recommend and book again but I was confirm that all of these issues were fixed and the pool was ready if that’s important to you. Also, we had 7 in our group (parents and teens) and we felt pretty cramped with only 2 bathrooms. Bonus: there’s a duck sitting on eggs behind a bush in front of the yard.

Pensacola Home away from home

Very accurately described, had amenities for children. The neighborhood was impressively, peaceful, and quiet. Very easy drive to west gate of nas and Perdido beaches. Communication with property owner was fantastic. Very responsive and receptive. Would definitely book again!

Perfect for multiple Families

We had four families (13 Total) meet up at this location and everything was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! Highly highly recommended for large families or multiple families. If we come back to Pensacola we will definitely look for this place again! They were super helpful when we had questions they responded and answered quickly.

Felipe was very responsive and helpful with our last minute booking. We had a very enjoyable stay - the place was spotless, deceivingly large and many fun activities in the games room. Absolutely fantastic place to stay for people of all ages!

Truly 5-star stay!

Felipe was super helpful all through our stay. I have stayed at a number of vacation rentals and can confidently declare that Felipe suits the definition of a super host to the T - his communication, helpful tips and overall assistance was above and beyond. The house might not be extremely luxurious but it had plenty of bells and whistles to keep our 15 member group with a bunch of kids fully entertained for our 5-day stay. We could not use the pool/outdoor area much as we timed our visit to the coldest days of the year (go figure!) but thanks to the fully equipped game room, kids had a blast. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone coming with large group and kids.
