« Check in time was at 4. We arrived at 5 and the host was still there folding towels. Upon walking into the house, we could smell a strong air freshener smell which became overwhelming all throughout the house. The couches smelled strongly like Frebreze along with the blankets and towels. The sheets were stained and wrinkled. The refrigerator door had a very loud “pop” when opened and closed. « The owner needs to visit the property and give it an overall cleaning and update. It seems this is being rented out while being renovated. There was mail in the box and a package on the steps that gave the impression the property had not been visited in a bit. The dead bird on the front walk way had been there awhile too (Owner was responsive in having someone remove it). The batteries are low on the keyless entree. « Lovely home, absolutely charming and whimsical! The home was exactly as described in VRBO. It is in the heart of a charming neighborhood directly across a narrow quiet road from the Delaware River. There is a three tiered patio at the River that is part of the property and easily accessible. This home is a ten minute drive from the Washington Crossing State Parks and another 10 minute drive from Lambertville and New Hope. « Everything was great. Rooms are spacious and clean. The homeowner responded to questions within 15 minutes. Our we arrived at the house sooner than expected and he graciously allowed us to enter the house early. There are two offstreet parking spots and a cute little patio.. Only thing that we could’ve used that was not there was a baby gate for the stairs. He had a highchair and a pack and play which were greatly appreciated. »
