„The house was really clean and th bedding was so nice , However , Since they used the well water , It was smelling really bad , u couldn't shower or wash any thing with that water , You have to go grap the water from the nearest municipal tap near by . the host is really nice and responsive “

„Beautiful property in a lovely area. We visited some fantastic restaurants in the area a short walk from the house and took breakfast up to Lion's Lookout on our first morning. The house was clean and well organised with excellent aircon- thank goodness! We appreciated having access to the property owners blog about the area and used it to source days trips and local vendors as well as for ideas for our trip. A fantastic experience had by all the family. “

„An absolute "Slice of Paradise" in a beautiful wooded lot!! A gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath immaculately clean, spacious home 10 minutes from Hidden Valley Ski Hill. It sleeps 12!! It has an extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could ask for and an operational hot tub. The grandchildren loved the games room downstairs and the Karaoke machine!!! It was a wonderful family weekend . Would recommend the property to anyone.“

„In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! "If you are looking for a campsite athmosphere, and historic cabins, meaning old, badly maintained and small cabins (we stayed in Tumble Inn), then this is the place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the lake water is clear and brown (due to the woods) and hiking trails are easy to reach. Positive: after initial complaint, the friendly staff spent two hours to clean the cabin and the windows, which improved our stay a lot. "
